More Evidence that the Ten Commandments Apply to All and Remain Unchanged

The Ten Commandments apply to everyone but Christians. Christ has fulfilled all of the OT law. Since Christians are in Christ, how can Christ be subject to the OT law? Was His sacrifice and fulfillment of the OT law ineffective?

The MOST IMPORTANT TRUTH of God's WORD concerning this thread just surfaced by the Holy Spirit of Truth.

In Post 2,461 this statement was made:
"However. The weekly Sabbath was never a remedy for transgression, although in later times it acted as a sign of God's redemptive power. It was never a shadow or type, nor was it established as such. It was established, like marriage, before sin entered into the world, therefore could not act as an instrument foreshadowing Christ's sacrifice and atonement."

The statement above is antichrist(not you Brakelite) and is from the same basis of Matthew 16:21-23

#1 - God's Holy Sabbath REST is the ONLY REMEDY for ALL sins, transgressions and disobedience that brought all of mankind under the power of sin and bondage.

#2 - God's Holy Marriage between Adam & Eve is the foreshadow of CHRIST and His Bride/the Church

I seem to have allowed myself to get stuck in a revival of this thread.

#1 - The individual, personal appropriation of the LIFE, DEATH, and RESURRECTION of the LORD JESUS CHRIST is the ONLY REMEDY for ALL sins, transgressions, and disobedience that brought all mankind under the power of sin and bondage. (To deviate from this is tantamount to the spirit manifest by Peter in Matthew 16:21-23.)

#2 - God's Holy Marriage between Adam & Eve is illustrative of the image of God in which they were made. (Nothing that happened before sin was committed on earth - foreshadows anything having to do with sin on earth afterward.)

I'm somewhat familiar with scholarly, standard practices of Biblical hermeneutics and much of what is being practiced in this thread is amateurish psychological manipulation of Scripture.

The making of coats of skin for the Edenic pair (Genesis 3:21) is the first type of Christ's redemptive mission mentioned in Scripture. Genesis 3:15 is a prophecy—not a type.

Also-as a Panser-I remember how we "sweated with the Navi guys" and the competition-you have taught me a lot and still teach me brother.

You might try an experiment. Just an idea. Restrict yourself to, or read largely of theologians from The Great Awakening era for a time. I try to avoid reading books written by folks who haven't been dead for quite a while. Morbid thought, I realize, but the English language especially has become so corrupt with a shockingly low level of emotional intelligence that even scholars who espoused error 150-200 years ago are easier to glean gems of truth from than the most orthodox authors of today.

Entertainment and journalistic media have manipulated the emotions of folks for so long that even Christians are now almost completely blind to this working of the evil one and care nothing about shielding themselves from these invaders of the avenues of the soul. My great-grandmother had no idea how correct she was when she rightly called the television "the devil's box." But it is now everywhere. TV is absolute kid's stuff compared to the Internet. :)

You forgot to say "You are getting very sleepy..."

We're not even speaking the same language, Brother. I'm sure it's just some disconnect on my part but you seem to be making up the rules about what's all-important as you go along. I'm at a complete loss to comprehend what you're saying. Perhaps I just don't have a high enough level of discernment. I've never heard of anything like "authentic Holy Spirit applied hermeneutics" and I sincerely doubt you'd find any such term in a seminary textbook.
