@Matthias - looks like we’re down to Final Jeopardy Alex
If this is a trivia general knowledge quiz game for you and @Matthias-be my guest-it is appointed for man to die ONCE-after that the judgement.Final Jeopardy Alex
Right, they sought not did. They did because of Mark 14:61-62. See the difference?Jhn 5:18 - Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God.
The assumption of the OP and this post is that Jews reject Jesus. That simply isn't true.Another reason why Jews reject Jesus -> the doctrinal assertion that Jesus is not a human person.
Who is trolling? We’re talking about how long it will be before this thread is closed by the moderators. I’m certainly not trying to troll anyone . This conversation has been dangerously close to a topic we’re not allowed to discuss on this forum. That’s all we’re joking about. Remember that-Son_2:15 Take us the foxes, the little foxes, that spoil the vines: for our vines have tender grapes.
If your business is to troll-don't do it here.
Johann.
Got allowed man to sell a dozen hotdogs to be sold with 10 buns. He has to have a sense of humor!I can only hope that God has a sense of humor.

Jesus was a Jew as were all His disciples, all the authors of the New Testament (except Luke), and all the members of the first churches. Perhaps some Jews reject Jesus, but not all.
You should read Romans 11. It begins with this...
I ask, then, I ask, then, has God rejected his people? By no means! I myself am an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham, a member of the tribe of Benjamin. God has not rejected his people whom he foreknew. Do you not know what the scripture says of Elijah, how he pleads with God against Israel? “Lord, they have killed your prophets, they have demolished your altars; I alone am left, and they are seeking my life.” But what is the divine reply to him? “I have kept for myself seven thousand who have not bowed the knee to Baal.” So, too, at the present time there is a remnant chosen by grace. But if it is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works, otherwise grace would no longer be grace." Romans 11:1-6
And continuing on: "So I ask, have they stumbled so as to fall? By no means! But through their stumbling salvation has come to the gentiles, so as to make Israel jealous. Now if their stumbling means riches for the world and if their loss means riches for gentiles, how much more will their full inclusion mean! Romans 11:11-12
And more: "But if some of the branches were broken off, and you, a wild olive shoot, were grafted among the others to share the rich root of the olive tree, do not boast over the branches. If you do boast, remember: you do not support the root, but the root supports you. You will say, “Branches were broken off so that I might be grafted in.” That is true. They were broken off on account of unbelief, but you stand on account of belief. So do not become arrogant, but be afraid. For if God did not spare the natural branches, neither will he spare you." Romans 11:17-21
Obviously you have never heard of Jews for Jesus or any other Messianic group. They are Jews who not only have not rejected Jesus, they have embraced Him as the Messiah.
Finally, I myself am a Jew and not only have I accepted Yeshua as my Messiah, but I have even served as an elder in my church.
Yes and he did make the platypusGot allowed man to sell a dozen hotdogs to be sold with 10 buns. He has to have a sense of humor!
I think then they felt he was claiming to be the Messiah but he had already been arrested and bound at that pointRight, they sought not did. They did because of Mark 14:61-62. See the difference?
I don't share your humor-eternal life is at stake here.Who is trolling? We’re talking about how long it will be before this thread is closed by the moderators. I don’t want the thread to end. As far as posts a wise man once told me “If you can’t be brilliant be brief.” I have always found that to be good advice. I actually agree with much of what you post but you have a tendency to be long winded and now sound kind of judgemental and intolerant.I don't share your humor-eternal life is at stake here.
You-Wrangler and Matthias-the "Lolling Ha-ha's" little foxes spoiling the vine.
The rabbis have a saying-"There is a time to laugh, and now is not that time" You guys are the "baiters" bringing nothing to the table.
If this thread is too long for you and your buddies-go somewhere else-yes?
I have observed some here are one or two liners-anything more and it is lost-but not to the poor and the needy-HUNGRY for God's word.
1Co 1:26 For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:
1Co 1:27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;
1Co 1:28 And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:
1Co 1:29 That no flesh should glory in his presence.
If you and your buddies are here to goad the flock-God's flock-and the ministers-who is breaking the rules of this Forum?
You think I'm here to blow my own trumpet? Or that I am, by the chen of God trying to edify members and BE edified -to encourage members-and be encouraged?
You and your two friends wants this thread to end? Because it is TOOO long and you have nothing to learn?
Tell you what-you go your way-I'll stay on the highway of holiness-yes?
Have a good day.
Johann.
It’s a reliable account of what transpired. These particular Jews, not all Jews, were enemies of a particular fellow Jew (and his Jewish disciples.) What we’re reading about is a confrontation where all parties involved, both sides, are Jews.
Is the Messiah equal with God? Yes. Both sides of this Jewish quarrel would have been in agreement about that. You and I are in agreement that the Messiah is equal with God.
What’s the problem then?
This is a Jewish argument over authority and identification.
Who made Jesus of Nazareth the Messiah?
His enemies said that he did. I say that God did.
His enemies would not agree with me.
Sure. Arrested and bound not executed. The other verses are ambiguous but Mark 14:61-62 is explicit and direct on the point.I think then they felt he was claiming to be the Messiah but he had already been arrested and bound at that point
Not being judgmental-speaking from what I observe-but I don't tolerate lighthearted, frivolous, out of line "jokes" unbefitting the holy Scriptures and Christ Jesus, our great God and Savior and the Holy Spirit.judgemental and intolerant.
The Jews I know are a lot older than me and there was one that answered all my questions and explained about his beliefs. He knew what my beliefs were and he didn’t try to change my mind and I showed him the same courtesy. The only one I talked about Jesus with was Messianic and around Easter he would do Seder suppers and explain the meaning behind the meals.Sure. Arrested and bound not executed. The other verses are ambiguous but Mark 14:61-62 is explicit and direct on the point.
Anyway, we believe Jesus is the messiah. The Jews do not. I think it’s important to understand the basis for the rejection and have a cogent response. Don’t you?
