It seems that if you even think the Scriptures are not just a book , but are the word of God we preach, then you should at least agree with the Scriptures!! But you don't!!

Let me prove that to you using the Scriptures!!

Jn 1:1,2 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God.
(The Scriptures are writings and so were not around in the beginning with God and they certain not God because they are also not a person to be thought of as "He")

Jn 5:39,40You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; it is these that testify about Me; and you are unwilling to come to Me so that you may have life.
(So we find a problem in the Bible that Jesus discussed with the Jew. They were thinking knowing the Scriptures would give them eternal life but they did not actually turn to Jesus Christ so they could have life)

Jn 5: 46,47 “For if you believed Moses, you would believe Me, for he wrote about Me. “But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe My words?”
(And those same Jews read the writing of Moses - the first five books in the Bible - but they didn't actually believe what they read, and is that not what your are doing?)

Jn 6:63 “It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing; the words that I have spoken to you are spirit and are life.

The problem those Jews had is that they didn't understand the it was the Holy Spirit who would give them the words of God, and not the Bible!! That doesn't mean we should read the Bible, after all it is good for reproof - which is what I am using it for right now)

Rev 19:13 He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God.

(Now Jesus, as also seen in John 1, is the Word of God because He talks to us! Hia sheep hears His voice - See John 10, not read His voice but hear His voice!)

Rom 10: 6-8 But the righteousness based on faith speaks as follows: “DO NOT SAY IN YOUR HEART, ‘WHO WILL ASCEND INTO HEAVEN?’ (that is, to bring Christ down), or ‘WHO WILL DESCEND INTO THE ABYSS?’ (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead).” But what does it say? “THE WORD IS NEAR YOU, IN YOUR MOUTH AND IN YOUR HEART”—that is, the word of faith which we are preaching,

(Since the word of God we preach is found in our hearts and mouth, because the word we preach comes to our spirit from the Holy Spirit, you can still find the Word of God we preach in you even though the Bible is not with you)

Is 28: 12,13 He who said to them, “Here is rest, give rest to the weary,”
And, “Here is repose,” but they would not listen.
So the word of the LORD to them will be,
“[fn]Order on order, order on order,
Line on line, line on line,
A little here, a little there,”
That they may go and stumble backward, be broken, snared and taken captive.

(Now above is the real problem that your writing shows. If you will not listen to the Lord, then the word of God to you, according to what Isaiah wrote, will be the orderly lines upon lines of text that you read a little hear and there! So whenever you find a person preaching the Bible as the word of God it shows that they don't listen! Isaiah wrote that! And Isaiah got that information from listening to the Lord himself, which is why He wrote it. And that failure to listen to the Lord winds up not only calling the lines of text in the Bible the word but also winds up causing you to go and stumble backwards, be broken, snared and taken captive. What happen with those Jews who were searching the Scriptures instead of turning to Jesus Christ?)


People - we need to know the Lord our God Jesus Christ!!! God is spirit so we hear the Holy Spirit who brings us the words of God for us personally!! Those words belong to Jesus Christ!! So the Holy Spirit gets them from Jesus Christ, much like a phone will get the words of someone you know and bring them to you! The Holy Spirit does not speak on His own but He brings you personally the words God has for you. So we hear Him with our spiritual ears, and we should hear Him in words - that small voice that Christian should all know about - and that is the word of God we are preaching!!

Jn 16: 13-15 “But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come. “He will glorify Me, for He will take of Mine and will disclose it to you. “All things that the Father has are Mine; therefore I said that He takes of Mine and will disclose it to you.

This is what is explained in the Bible - that the Spirit takes the words of God from Jesus Christ who was given to Him by the Father!

And the goods news is that Jesus is just standing there talking to you with His voice, so all you have to do is open up to Him and ask Him to come inside so you two can talk back and forth!!!

Rev 3:20 ‘Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me."

Now I have used Scripture after Scripture after Scripture proving or reproving those who are still thinking knowing the Bible is going to save them, as if the Bible is a person instead of the Sacred Writings!

The truth the Holy Spirit guides you into is that Jesus Christ wants to talk to you personally!! And the Holy Spirit explains this and hooks you up personally with our Lord Jesus Christ and His words!! That is what the Bible explains. That is what everyone who wrote Scriptures were doing by writing Scriptures!! They all heard Him, so they wanted you to hear Him also!! As do I!! Jesus Christ is worth knowing personally!!!

Hello Amigo,..as you feel so very STRONGLY, about the SIN in the church, you say it ain’t condemnation to even cast out folks in sin who won’t repent of said sin,etc,etc,

My question to you, do you put and preach what you preach all over this forum, out there into the world/ would/ do you stand on a podium and preach this to the world?

I know someone who has committed adultery, I also know two gays and two lesbians,.....do you think I should preach to them, that they are perverted and living in sin?

Or do you believe I should leave them to the Lord to deal with.....I’ve been called to hate the sin ,but, not the sinner?

What would you do @amigo de christo ,...if you were in my shoes?

What would the Holy Spirit prompt you to do or say?

It’s just that you have so much to say on this subject......I can only think or even believe that you must be out there preaching it to the worldly people in PERSON?

If so, where do you stand and preach this, which part of the country?....many thanks.

Even if you get moved on or even arrested for preaching per say.....you can still get that word out there, by moving from one place to another....just like buskers and homeless people do, when they beg for money..?.

When I was younger, before the year of 2007, I was open to people who said they could hear God speak. But now days I find myself feeling scared when someone tells me this.

Why do we need to hear the voice of God when the Bible is the complete word of God?

I got emotionally damaged by someone who said to me: "God told me not to talk to you anymore". I was like that is mean! Several years later the same person tried apologizing to me, telling me that they were going through depression. The conversations kept getting weirder after that.

I used to watch a Bible prophecy program, and lots of the so called "Prophets" said they could hear the voice of God, and yet none of the prophecies came true. Which meant they were false prophets. If they would of lived in the Old Testament times, in Israel they would of been stoned for it.

With that opening statement, here is my set of questions.

Do you hear the voice of God? What do you think of people who say they hear the voice of God? Do we need to hear the voice of God when we got the Bible to tell us?

Not audibly , but some do.
I think God speaks to us all the time through others whom He uses to get a message to us, especially Pastors.
The prophets did hear God audibly. He sent them on particular missions and so had to instruct them in detail what to do and say. Jesus came down and spoke to all who heard, then to Saul and likely others at times.
Once scripture was complete, there was no need for quotations to be added to the Bible, but that doesn't mean God became silent.

We have the Holy Spirit who speaks to us. For me, this is not audible, but He gives me thoughts, answers prayers, takes over a conversation when He uses me to witness or minister to someone. It is not always easy to distinguish His thoughts that get mixed with our own. But sometimes it is very obvious. When we feel His presence and movement, we know and confirm, "That was the Holy Spirit". He gives us words to say at the right moment. People may need to hear something and we sometimes don't have a clue what exactly they need but we utter something specific to them in our conversation that just flows out of us and deliver a word from God, exactly what they needed to hear. He brings scriptures to remembrance to deliver at the precise moment they are needed. It pops into your head and you a r e thinking wow, I'm good at this ... so perceptive to just pull out the right thing to say. Praise God!
We also experience the Holy Spirit speaking directly to us in a congregation through the Pastor as if the sermon was designed for us. My Pastor was gifted that way and so many in the congregation occasionally received a personal message. The Pastor prepared his sermon ( or should I say the Holy Spirt did) and he spoke it. He did not read it. He just looked occasional at his topical outline and was led by the Spirit for an hour or so. He gave four or five sermons on the weekend and no two were exactly the same from the same notes.
God is always speaking to us, we just have to learn to be good listeners, more keen and spiritually receptive.
We are told to pray without ceasing. That is not like a prayer before a meal or for someone with a particular need. It is an open channel to God that every thought and action is in communion with God all the time. We include Him in everything.
So are we to think that He does not answer our unceasing prayers? He is, all the time.
We get this unction that compels us, guides us to do something ... His thoughts are whispered, " You ought to do this ... help this person ... or go this way.

Thank you for the scripture,but, imo,it doesn’t answer my question to Amigo... I am hoping for him to answer my questions .....

If my Son or Daughter turned out gay or lesbian, there is no way on the planet I would reject them, I gave birth to them, I wouldn’t support them in there act....but I would still LOVE them, no way do I believe God would want me to have nothing to do with them....not in a million years...my belief and thoughts.

It also says Brother or Sister.....I must say, the lady who was my sister in Christ, who committed adultery, I have distanced myself from her, but, I am here if she needs me.and always will be....I know she has suffered greatly by committing adultery and having a son to a married man, the church I used to attend, still accepts her and are loving and kind to her....

If she is beaten down, why is your church family etc continuing to beat her? " Jezebel" from one dude in your church? Jesus expanded the definition of adultery which I'd bet, Mr. ""you're a Jezebel" has done in his heart more than once. Those usually howl the loudest.
Tell me again, just how many boyfriends did the woman at the well have? She turned out to be a more loving person that alot of the other folk He ran into. She was forgiven. I dont recall reading that the disciples decided to degrade her.

Got a gay friend or child in the family? Here you go--love them. Do not cast the child from the family. You may be the witness God uses
I had a boss that was gay . He was relocated but close. If I saw him again, I'd hug him. I don't understand the hate either.

I dont set up in any place to speak out against ONE SIN .
What a lost idea that is .
I POINT TO CHRIST , but yes , if a gay person happens to come along my path
REST ASSURED he or she wont be leaving thinking i agree with their sin .
PS , being polite to folks IS FINE . HAVING UNITY is another thing all together .
I WAS always POLITE or i should say kind , not mean , to all people .
I say was cause i am talking about when i worked with the public .
But i also worked with quite a few who were gay . OR many who were gay came into the place also where i worked .
In the chain i worked in i was often moved to other stores .
Rather odd that the new store i would go to , SEEMED TO KNOW so much about me .
And often i was rejected right from the start . EVER WONDER WHY THAT IS .
Cause i always spoke the truth . AND folks TALK my friend .
MY reputation spread like FIRE fueled with white gas .
There was no gay amongst them that knew not what i believed .
yet still they , cept a few and i will explain that too , could never say i hated anyone .
THEY KNEW i was nice , did good to all . BUT I was hated BIG TIME
cause i never let one think his or her sin was fine . Even near the end of my working in that chain
I was so hated and yet even managers could not fire me . DUE TO they would say THE MAN is so nice .
HE dont treat anyone bad , IS GOOD to customers , WORKS like a mule . Never complains , never calls in sick
and always is and has peace . THEY couldnt fire me for my work ethics nor my conduct . I was KIND TO ALL
but DID NOT EVER CONFORM to the lies .
They had even told me a few years before i left , You cant be preaching your religion to anyone anymore .
Never heeded it . ANY time i was led i spoke to that person .
Even when a huge bull of a man , WHICH called itself a woman would come into the store
and got offended that i did not call him mam . REFUSED TO DO SO .
Sure i could have lost a lot of teeth over that one . BUT REFUSED TO DO SO .
And believe me once you refuse to bend the knee to one , THEY SOON send in more folks .
Soon many transgenders and gays came in . NO budging .
They never hit me . BUT man they sure got mad . We must tell the truth .
I even got in trouble for telling the gay mananger HE needed Christ .
There were a few gays i also talked to that i worked with . THEY refused to hear me
but didnt get so angry . Later one gay was so shocked
when i heard his electricty was about to get cut off
and let some money in a cup for him .
Later i was telling him that the manager , WHO was gay , thinks i am nothing but a hater , but all i desire is good for him .
the man said NO WAY are you a hater . HE was gay . He watched . ME and him had discussions and i was trying to help him
see the truth . NO MATTER WHAT we must SHINE THE LIGHT and SPEAK TRUTH .
I just remembered the man i was talking about said i was the NICEST man he knew . Nicer than all his gay friends .

To go to a place just to preach out against one single sin . I have never been led to do that .
Rather its to point to Christ . YES we can speak out against sins , SINS . all SINS .
I aint about one single issue . I rebuke and correct ALL SIN . INCLUDING THE SIN that the church is so terrified to even
say is a sin . We aint saving or helping them by allowing them to believe its okay or not correcting them .
If paul had a man removed from the church , due to HE had his fathers wife .
TRY and imagine what he would have told the church if it had TWO gay married MEN amongst them
and , YA GOTTA KNOW THEY are fornicating . This madness has to end .

and we KNOW they are living in sin . CORRECT IT .

You can’t force what you believe on to another Brother or Sister, if they aren’t ready to receive it, you can’t get the message across in your own strength....only the Lord can speak to the heart of that Brother or Sister, imo and belief.

It’s only God’s word that can get any message across to his child..you or I can’t....I certainly know that...I spoke to my friend once and only once about no sex before marriage and living in sin with a lover....she wasn’t listening ,so I then handed her over to God...I still Love her though and will always be here if she needs me.

But first let me ask us something . Does GOD honor Gay marriage . NOPE .
SO its FORNICATION no matter what . eat not with such a brother or a sister who is in that .
Any true man or woman of GOD , that once was gay , would tell you they no longer SUPPORT it .

No I can’t do that.....the scripture would have to speak to my heart before I could do that.....in other words the Holy Spirit would have to speak to my heart, in order for me to do that.....

It took a while for his word to penetrate my heart, but, I have distanced myself from her...but, I’m here if she needs me....she would have to come to me, i’m not to go to her....that is my belief.
