James 1:1 KJV
[1] James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting.
Yes. And?

When your pastor stands up in church and reads james, does he say this does not apply to you. This pony applies to the jews (if so why read it) and when he speaks to the church, does he assume everyone is saved. Does he nof give the gospel

oh wait. Thats right, you do not go to church..

I read it because it is a testament of what the Father did for his children. James was starving because he was disowned by his brethren. He couldn’t buy and sale because he refused too bear their mark.

What does that have to do with James asking people who claim to have faith and not have works. The question of will that faith save them or not?

And we can ask this same question today.. as we see people all over who claim to have faith. But has no works.. they still act like the world. Would you not want them to examine themselves Like James had this group of people do?

You can keep running around in circles. Or you can look at what Jesus said in that particular passage and ask your self why

did you ever become like the tax collector. and in true saving faith repent and confess that you were hopeless without him

Would matter if I said yes since I am not going to a church building? That makes no sense to me by those going on and on about Faith without works?

When I went to go get Zaxby’s a little bit ago…I had this thought. How he says the OT is for our example, our learning. Not to take anything away from the Jews . I was thinking about the Old Testament and the New Testament. How growing up I was told concerning this: the Old Testament looks forward to the crucifixion, in the New Testament the cross is behind. Yet there is supposed to be no looking back. You hear it said that the church today is no different than the Israelites wondering in the desert, looking forward to the cross. Would you say the Old Testament is our example of walking in the flesh? Is the New Testament our example of walking in the Spirit? Consider in a persons walk…that when they walk in the flesh how they are always looking forward to the cross. It is always before them, never behind. But when the time comes to walk in Newness of Life…where is the cross? Behind. Helps I think with having passed from death unto Life.

Leaving these things behind, let us move on to perfection. The Old Testament and New Testament I don’t think lie. Flesh is always looking up ahead, forward. I can’t help but notice the theology born out of this always always looking forward. It is never behind and rightfully so, because Old Testament is looking forward to the cross. The New Testament is what exactly? Makes me think of to walk in the flesh and all that is said and taught is “yet to come” …

Did David walk in the flesh or the spirit?

Did Paul walk in the flesh or in the spirit?

The gospel has never changed. It is through faith in God.. Abraham believed and it was credited to him as righteousness.. That was before he did the many great deeds we know he did. But we also know he did some prety serious sins also..

Same with David

You going to church or not does not make you saved…Your faith does.

Can I ask. Do you think there is something you need to be saved from? How do you think one is born again?

Do you attend a local church, if so what denomination is it. If you don’t mind my asking, I get strong southern Baptist vibes.
amigo de christo condemns most churches, so it's no surprise that he doesn't attend one. They would throw him out very quickly.

That means they are within churches JIM .
This is nonsense! You are the hypercritical one who rebukes and condemns those in the church of today, the body of Christ. As here, you are always judging and condemning others.

Jude 1:8-9, "Yet in the same way these dreamers also defile the flesh, reject authority, and slander the glorious ones. But when the archangel Michael disputed with the devil and argued about the body of Moses, he did not dare to bring a condemnation of slander against him but said, “The Lord rebuke you!". The Lord rebuke you! Get it???

dont find this so hard to believe jim . Marvel not if satans ministirs can indeed appear as righteous .
Satan himself can appear as an angel of light , and HE is DARKNESS .
HE has ministirs who have long infiltrated some churches and have taken them all captive to a lie which WILL NOT save them .
You do realize that due to all this junk they been pumping into the churches
that now seventy percent of christendom believes GOD is fine with all religoins . JIM
, JIM , Satan infiltrates my friend . And he knows how to decieve too . And he has many ministirs
dug deep within christendom . I know you dont want to believe this or hear this .
IT breaks my heart too jim . BUT at least i am doing something about it and exposing that which is false
and those who are false . Get in the BIBLE and do you some real learning and fast too .
