Agree that in this instance Jesus was referring to the unbelieving Jews, and He referred to them as the world because they were unbelieving. But just a heads-up here, that we need to be careful with words in scripture because the same word can be referring to different things. Eg, the word "world" is sometimes referring to the Gentile nations as opposed to the Jews/Israel. (Same goes for the word "perfect" as well, it is not always referring to the same sense of the word.)

Paul claims they entered the holiest of holies through the crucified flesh of Christ. He implies they entered through/beyond. Why do so many here imply they only make it too the cross, and that is where they stay?

If they believe in Christ they do . New life is given to those who believe in Christ . They enter in . Not other false religions .
A true example. Go talk to ex muslims who NOW follow Christ .
They too would tell you their old religion was false . So would a ex buddists or ex hindu who came to Christ .
SEE they actually repent from their lie . Any true conversion to CHRIST would BELEIVE ON HIM
and no longer follow the darkness .

We do have us some ditch diggers amongst us . Only it aint us that are the ones preaching some other gospel

STILL we wait for the coming city as well . For flesh and blood cannot inherit
the Kingdom . One day we will have new changed glorified bodies .
Till then we are connected to it by the SPIRIT , but one day we walk IN IT . WELL if we dont preach
some other social gospel . Cause that gospel cannot save . But the glorious gospel of Christ sure can .
