The only way to LIVE was to look up at the serpent on the pole

The only way for us to live is to look up at the lamb of God on the cross.

Otherwise. We will die.

So how can you look up too him if your hanging there with him?

How does a birth dwell in believers? Your oil ran out so long ago you either never experienced eternal life..even for a moment...or you forgot how wonderful an eternal consciousness...a quickening into eternal life...was like.

How does the ressurection of Christ and new birth dwell in believers?

You are missing the point here. Even though the people looked to the serpent and lived...they still perished in the wilderness through unbelief. Don't make a simple look cover up the hard bitten rebellion of the outer man. Go to the cross...or you will likewise die in your sins.

For as many of us who were BAPTIZED into Christ were BAPTIZED into HIS DEATH.

We were UNITED in the likeness of his death….

This is not water baptism he is talking about here. This is spirit baptism. That God the Holy SPirit literally takes us back to the cross. And we experience his death. As he died. We died also.

This is how one is saved. His death is applied to our account.

the cross covers sin and does not give life- the resurrection from the dead is what gives life- Jesus said I Am the Resurrection and the Life. Paul affirms the same thing in His writings.

They were bitten with snakes. They had a death sentence and they could not save themselves. All they could do is cry out to God and God gave them the answer. The serpent.

If you looked up IN FAITH, you lived

If you did not in unbelief, you were condemned.

Everyone dies physically. That was not the point. The point was a teaching aid.

As jesus said, he who believes (looks up) is not condemned, he who does not believed is condemned already/. Because in lack of faith. They never looked up. And believed

Jesus died for the world

He did not die for only a select group of people, That is a calvinist belief.

The cross belongs to everyone jesus died for. All they have to do is accept it.

Thats why it is called a gift.

The gospel of John was written- His purpose statment for writing it was so that those who read it will believe Jesus is the promised Messaih and that believing in Him you will have eternal life. Eternal life is found only in the Son- He who has the Son has life and he who does not have the Son is condemned. Once again your doctrines conflict with and oppose the Bible.

we KNOW we have eternal life. And because of this fact WE continue to believe (The apostle John)

and this faith is what allows us to walk in the spirit.
