They don’t believe Psalms 12:6-7, Proverbs 30:5, etcetera.
The believer becomes the final word of authority or the Modern scholar.
There is no Bible that exists in their mind that is perfect to be under a final Word of Authority to.
But again, this is not the topic of this thread.
It is merely a derail of the topic because Johann does not like what the Bible says in English in 1 Peter 4:1-2, Galatians 5:24, 2 Corinthians 7:1.

• Mark 7:13 - “thus invalidating the word of God by your tradition which you have handed down; and you do many things such as that.”
• John 10:35 - “If he called them gods, to whom the word of God came (and the Scripture cannot be broken).”

So these things would not exist in Scripture if things are as you say, friend.
But in either case, the Bible does teach we can overcome sin in this life (See: 1 Peter 4:1-2, 2 Corinthians 7:1, Galatians 5:24).
So the thread OP is false. Many are simply not believing God’s Word (The Bible).

see, no Pneuma in there anywhere (and most likely no “Scripture” either, when you go back to v15, “writings,” 2 Timothy 3:15 Lexicon: and that from childhood you have known the sacred writings which are able to give you the wisdom that leads to salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. note how the english rendering “Scriptures” magically turns into its proper form, “writings,” in the lexicon

now i dont mean this to be an argument against the sacredness (not “holiness”) of Scripture, ok; only note that they did not even have what we now deem “Scripture,” and they also had many other “writings” that they deemed “sacred,” which Paul even imported several into our “Scripture”

Do not focus a laser beam on the definition of the word. Read the whole verse in context. It’s saying the word of God are the Scriptures. In other words, in your mind right now you don’t want it to be true and so you will do anything to avoid such a truth. When in reality you should just be open to being wrong and read the chapter and pray about it with the Lord. That is the difference between us here.
