Please tell me keithr....do you have a brotherhood who all believe what you believe?
I see you still have that song on repeat! We have shown your understanding of a literal 144,000 to be in error...what more can be done for you?

I'm misled for taking God literally?
No, you are misled because you believe what is not written in God's word. You believe what Christendom tells you is true....but it never was.
Jesus did not teach a trinity....not once did he ever say that he was God or even his equal.
I have given you clear statements from Moses as well as the apostles and Jesus himself, all contained in the inspired scriptures....yet you cannot acknowledge them....that is your problem I'm afraid.

Are there any Bible verses that JW's don't try to rewrite?
Please tell me which verses we rewrite and I'll tell you the ones that were rewritten for you, centuries before you were even born.

What are your credentials for rewriting our Bible? None maybe?
Credentials? What credentials do you require? What credentials does God require? We have not rewritten anything. Please give us the evidence.

How many among the 12 were even educated at the Rabbinical Schools? The Pharisees used that against them.
Acts 4:13...
"Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated, common men, they were astonished. And they recognized that they had been with Jesus." Taught by the greatest teacher who ever lived.

John 7:15...it was said of Jesus himself....
"The Jews therefore marveled, saying, “How is it that this man has learning, when he has never studied?” Who taught Jesus?
The reason why Jesus chose uneducated men as his apostles was because they had not studied at institutions that taught lies and twisted things from the scriptures to glorify themselves.
Christendom demands such credentials, with degrees in theology, but God never did.....some things never change. :hmhehm

Prove it's a parable. You can't. So it must be literal. The rich man died but was alive in the "everlasting fire" that Jesus clearly warned us about
you might notice that you speak as someone in a law court would, asking for proof now? How might i persuade you that There was a man was a (if not the) recognized way to begin a parable then, and that the point of this one—quite similar to the way absent from the body is abused, imo—is to illustrate a diff lesson—the stated one—anyway?

I have no proof, and you might be correct; i dont know what happens after we die…but i do recognize a Campaign when i see one? One test would be how firmly do you believe that, could there possibly be any other explanation iyo, etc bc i tell you that it is even phrased the way it is, rather than the way we would normally title that, “Lazarus and the Rich Man,” indicates that it is meant as a parable, putting the Rich Man first lol
and he asked for water to cool his tongue

doesnt mean it couldnt be literal too i guess, why not, but really the lesson is about something more important, eh. And Jesus’ Gehenna might be a bit more um real-time? than your version too :)
just sayin

Christendom is wrong and the WatchTower is right? All you have for proof is TWISTING Scripture by Kingdom Hall. That's all KH does! KH is dedicated to rewriting our Bible!

It is indeed literal! God said it. Just like John 3:16. God won't ask anyone's permission to burn them in Hell "forever and ever". Just like He didn't ask anyone's permission to drown everyone on Earth but 8, including babies and children.

Read JW posts. They HATE our Bible. JW's think they are Greek and Hebrew experts because the WatchTower says so.
LOL .....seems all I am getting from you is empty assertions. Please give us some evidence that we have altered what the Bible says......

What is.... "our Bible"?
max
Are you suggesting that only one translation is correct? Would you like to take me up on that challenge?

And if you think that understanding Greek and Hebrew words is unimportant then perhaps its time for you to withdraw from debate forums because you are really not up to the task. Your posts are shallow and lack any understanding of the scripture you quote.

It appears that you are simply another anti-JW complainer. All hot air....nothing of substance to say.....or do you just enjoy being a troll?

JW = "empty assertions". Even the JW bible teaches that JW's are heretics! See how God even gives JW's opportunity to become Christians!

Already took you up. Pay attention.

I never said Greek and Hebrew are unimportant. Please stop your Kingdom Hall false accusations.

I'm pointing out JW's HATRED for our Christian Bible.

Oh dear Jack, don't go by blind prejudice and stereotyping, take the time to sit down with a Jehovah's Witness and talk to one instead of going by mass stereotyping of Jehovah's Witnesses, and believing all the lies.

Our futility parades itself like a five star general. If we are not saved from it we stay/live in it.......continuing our aggression wherever we go and whoever we meet......till it destroys us.

Crumbs you crack me up....:sofunny: Ignorance makes such a fool of people who pretend to know things about which they clearly know nothing.....
What is this reference to the building in which we meet for worship.....do you think it must be the place where we hatch our evil plots?

Just what is "our Christian Bible"........do you have your own? So do we :Broadly:....and its way more accurate in its translation than something from the 1600's. Its not the only one I use though...I like to use different Bibles as its interesting to compare and see if they agree with the Hebrew or Greek text. Have you ever done that?

In case you haven't noticed, we don't speak KJV English anymore. That went out with high button shoes and fob watches.
And scholarship and linguistic studies have vastly improved since that old thing was first printed. Its a dinosaur....time to bury it.

Prove it's a parable. You can't. So it must be literal. The rich man died but was alive in the "everlasting fire" that Jesus clearly warned us about.
Matthew 13:34-35 (WEB):
(34) Jesus spoke all these things in parables to the multitudes; and without a parable, he didn’t speak to them,
(35) that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through the prophet, saying, “I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things hidden from the foundation of the world.”
Matthew 13:10-17 (WEB):
(10) The disciples came, and said to him, “Why do you speak to them in parables?”
(11) He answered them, “To you it is given to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of Heaven, but it is not given to them.
(12) For whoever has, to him will be given, and he will have abundance, but whoever doesn’t have, from him will be taken away even that which he has.
(13) Therefore I speak to them in parables, because seeing they don’t see, and hearing, they don’t hear, neither do they understand.
(14) In them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled, which says, ‘By hearing you will hear, and will in no way understand; Seeing you will see, and will in no way perceive:
(15) for this people’s heart has grown callous, their ears are dull of hearing, they have closed their eyes; or else perhaps they might perceive with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their heart, and would turn again; and I would heal them.’
(16) “But blessed are your eyes, for they see; and your ears, for they hear.
(17) For most certainly I tell you that many prophets and righteous men desired to see the things which you see, and didn’t see them; and to hear the things which you hear, and didn’t hear them.

Mark 4:10-12 (WEB):
(10) When he was alone, those who were around him with the twelve asked him about the parables.
(11) He said to them, “To you is given the mystery of God’s Kingdom, but to those who are outside, all things are done in parables,
(12) that ‘seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest perhaps they should turn again, and their sins should be forgiven them.’”

Mark 4:34 (WEB):
(34) Without a parable he didn’t speak to them; but privately to his own disciples he explained everything.

Jesus wasn't hallucinating when He taught Luke 16. It is clearly literal, unless you have been duped by Satan. Satan wants our company in Hell "forever and ever".

So John 3:16 and all the promises Jesus made to us for eternal salvation are just parables? You've been duped! Luke 16 is clearly LITERAL with literal Biblical people.
