While only Catholics pray to the saints, you are correct in that THEY ARE VERY MUCH ALIVE! All the saints who have passed on -- both OT an NT -- are now in the New Jerusalem in Heaven and alive and awake. And that is why they are called "so great a cloud of witnesses" (Heb 12:1). Unfortunately many on this forum hold to the FALSE DOCTRINE of Soul Sleep, thus they refuse to believe that the saints are awake and alive in Heaven.
