Would America be better off without politicians?

Yes, a thousand times yes! The rule of the true God was always an exponentially better alternative than being guided by political parties or politicians. The last several decades is proof that neither party really know how to guide this country towards God, peace, or lasting success and prosperity. If this country was led by God and not politicians, it wouldn't be where it is today.

I'm sure all believers would agree in principle, but we aren't going to see that in this fallen world. Not even churches get it right and I wouldn't want government in their hands either. In truth, Christian churches would probably be worse than the world.....that has already been attempted really and the result was a horror show......there is something to what Jesus said about the children of this world being in this generation wiser than the children of light. I don't know how God has put up with us for so long.....thank you Lord, for your great mercy in Christ. There's no way to make a utopia in this world.....as long as there is flesh there will be problems....and Jesus saying the poor we will always have with us, lets us know there will be no utopia. Living here is a cross we have to bear for now....our time of testing and trial, the proving of our faith. Heaven is our home....once perfection comes and corruptible has put on incorruptible, and then we will know as we are fully known.

In the meantime it is the Lord who has ordained governing authorities (Rom. 13).

I don't think that means we are to sit by and do nothing to prevent oppression, or help when people are suffering though. If we know to do good (practical ways), and don't do it, to us it's sin. Myself, I consider that may include voting, or trying to help wake folks up if they're being fooled by a corrupt politician or party or ideology, etc. To my understanding, God's wisdom is that we may use the things of this world...as long as we aren't getting caught up in them and pinning our hopes, dreams, trust in them......or letting ourselves gets distracted from the mission of the gospel.

We would be far better off had the folks just trusted in CHRIST and stopped trying to establish a political state or world led religoin .
The BBB is dire wicked and of the dragon . BUT SO is the goals of the nar prophets and many others who
have done as did ROME and tried to hard to create a state and or World religion .
This polytics aint gonna save us . The one thing that could have stopped the coming judgments
IS , HEY CHURCH Grow a backbone and preach REPENTANCE , NINEVAH STYLE . DONT PICK AND CHOOSE your sins
and what sins to expose while honoring other sins .
BUT neither side will do this . The churches are tanked . That gives me no joy to say that , BUT ITS TRUE .
TIME TO RETURN TO BIBLES and learn that JESUS for ourselves and stop heeding men who seek and trust in whatever politician

I know the right isn't perfect, but they aren't letting boys, who say they want to be girls, use girls' shower rooms, and they aren't promoting homosexuality, calling you hateful if you disagree with them about that.

Voting is just a practical issue, in my opinion. Not a sin issue in itself. You're just hiring people to administrate the practical affairs of the country, just like you would do your best to hire competent managers if you were responsible or partly responsible for running a large business.

But making it more than it is would be sin.....putting too much stock in politics instead of in God.....or mixing church and state together, since we are not to mix the holy with the profane/common.

Ultimately it's the Lord who decides whether to bless or curse a nation etc, and I don't see too much blessing upon a nation that turns it back on Him and shakes a fist in His face.

Voting is just a practical issue, in my opinion. Not a sin issue in itself. You're just hiring people to administrate the practical affairs of the country, just like you would do your best to hire competent managers if you were responsible or partly responsible for running a large business.
