Make up some pro's and con's lists. If the pro's outnumber the con's, then...voila!

There is another even better principle: Everyone is innocent until proven guilty.No. Claiming to be something doesn't make you something!
He died dropship.
Not sure about that one. I used to work in an auto parts store, and we had a mechanic section that was part of the business. They had this soap that would clean the dirt from out of your fingernails so you could go home clean. And if you're hiring a car mechanic, you go for the guy in dirty overalls with grease under his fingernails, not the guy in a suit and tie.![]()
Didn't work with my ex-wife. I didn't get to know her till 6 months into marriage. And we dated for about 3 months prior.A good way to gauge someone is to get them talking about themself. If they talk long enough, they will start revealing themselves in small ways. The mask, if they’re wearing one, will slip briefly.
Almost 40 years being married to the Sweet Lady, and I'm still learning things about her. :)Didn't work with my ex-wife. I didn't get to know her till 6 months into marriage. And we dated for about 3 months prior.
We were married for 8 years and worked everything out in the end. But then I got sick from surgery and things turned south from that alone. Often I think divorce comes from selfishness.Almost 40 years being married to the Sweet Lady, and I'm still learning things about her. :)

Perhaps since I'm not judgmental. I tend not to look for faults in people as I see that as an old behavior that I let go of.It probably did work with her, you just didn’t, or didn’t want to, see it. People are constantly showing you who they are if you look.
False hypothetical.Suppose you ran a business and were hiring a new worker.
Let's suppose two people apply and they both sound fantastic with excellent references and skills and are vey good at the interview, so there's nothing to choose between them.
However, one says he's a christian, and the other says he's a nonchristian or atheist.
Which one would you hire?
In theory, those same "politically correct" laws also protect us Christians if the boss doing the hiring is an atheist, or a Muslim, or a Druid... We're no longer in the majority. And that might actually be a good thing.

1. If a potential employer asked me about my religious affiliation, I would exit the interview.Suppose you ran a business and were hiring a new worker.

I wouldn't. I KNOW that there are plenty of non-Christians out there who behave more like Christians than plenty of Christians!I'd think twice before I applied for a job at a place which had a nonchristian boss..;)
PS- Some years ago the jobcentre sent me and other unemployed people on a compusory work scheme which involved refurbishing a local Hindu temple but I refused pointblank to go, and got my dole reduced for a while as punishment..:)

I wouldn't necessarily say that...Yes but the bottom line is that although nonchristians like to think they're nice people, they wouldn't reject Jesus if they were really nice..:)
The problem is that, even as Christians, we don't ALL share the same "life doctrines."As Christians, I'm sure we all share the same "life doctrines", e.g.-
"There is no more noble occupation in the world than to assist another human being, to help someone succeed"
-Alan Loy McGinnis (1933-2005)
"Just make up your mind at the very outset that your work is going to stand for quality... that you are going to stamp a superior quality upon everything that goes out of your hands, that whatever you do shall bear the hall-mark of excellence" - Orison Swett Marden (1850-1924)
So as we're the human races "star players", any boss would be nuts not to sign us up for his team..:)
