Why do you require this? What exactly do you have against the Bible? You keep making negative comments about it; why is that?
Show me my negative comment as I know I have made none when it comes to the Bible...

I do not insist on being the only one who is right on a point, even though I may believe it. The proof is in God to anyone to whom He has revealed what is true or not. I refer people who question this to what Solomon wrote a thousand years before Jesus was born in Bethlehem.

"Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the LORD pondereth the hearts." Prov 21:2

"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." Heb 11:1

Who is stepping out on the water keeping his eyes on the Lord, and who is looking fearfully down at the deadly water beneath his feet?

Being led and directed always by God even when we do not and seemingly cannot understand it all.

The answers you need, when you need them. God alone always knows what they are and when they are needed.

"O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.
O LORD, correct me, but with judgment; not in thine anger, lest thou bring me to nothing." Jerem 10:23-24

Indeed, it is a difficult thing for many... In what Book or Bible did Abraham have faith?

"By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.
By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise:" Heb 11:8-9

I did not read or own a Bible until I was 32 years of age but my first recalled encounter with God occurred 26 years earlier at 6 years of age.

Now at 78 I read my Bible daily, but I also talk with and listen to God. Where is the Life?

"Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;
Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life" II Cor 3:5-6

The Spirit of God does not dwell in unopened or unread books, not even the Bible, but in people.

Who has eyes to see and ears to hear from God? Not every Bible reader.

Absolutely....

without using the Bible... Explain.. are you saying that God is incapable of guiding you without the use of the Bible??? Are you saying that God will not call you into service himself??? Are you limiting th abilities of God Himself???
How would you know apart from the Bible if it’s God or satan ?

it is called Faith in God.. if I were out in the middle of nowhere and there were two directions to go and one lead to death and the other to safety, God will always lead me to safety..

now with out the bible explain to me how it is false??? according to God, how is what I am saying false...
OK, no bible words (at least intentionally).

You created an opening statement (post #1) with a premise that EITHER one thing is true (“your faith is in the Bible”) OR the other thing is true (“[your] faith is in God”). As stated in the explanation of the Logical Fallacy, you have failed to prove that EITHER statement is true (a prerequisite for the mandatory EITHER / OR condition) and you have failed to demonstrate that there are two (and only two) possible choices … the answer could very well be something other than the options that you presented for me (and anyone else reading post #1) to choose from.

I think that explains why your OP was a False Dilemma Fallacy without any Bible quotes.

Without a doubt the most important question you will ever be asked in your Christian Life...

Is your faith in the Bible or is it in God?

If you have to use the Bible to validate your faith, then your faith is in the Bible and not in God.
If you Believe that the Bible supports a Triune God, your faith is in the Bible and not in God.
If you believe Jesus was God Himself, your faith is in the Bible and not in God.
If you believe that God will not talk to you, then your faith is in the Bible and not God.

When you post comments and quote them, please post the entire post and not just bits and pieces.
I know hardly any of you will do that because cherry picking is your way of hiding from the truth...
Per your request, I have quoted the entire post!

Now, let the fun begin!

Is it the most important questionI will be asked? No. It barely registers as a valid one. See, if I tell my wife in a letter that I love her, how's silly would it be for someone to ask my wife if she believes me or the letter I wrote? Same with your question. If you don't believe the Bible is the Word of God, then that's another story.

Do I need to validate my faith with the Bible? Validate it?!?! To who?!?! The answer is no! The only one who need be concerned with my faith is God! He knows the strength or weakness of it.

Faith doesn't come by reading the Bible anyway... That is, according to the Bible.

I don't believe in the trinity theory, but I do believe that Jesus was God in the flesh.

Do I believe God talks to me? Yes! In many ways! Through a preacher, through the letter he wrote to me, maybe through angels unaware, dreams maybe. Sometimes he talks to me without saying a word, but just taking action. For example, he once talked to me by giving me a flat tire. That was his way of saying, "It's not time to leave yet!"

So yes, God talks to me all the time! But I sense strangely, that's not what you mean. I get a sense of hostility from you for the Bible, as if you don't trust it and you have found something better.

I wonder what that could be.

no actually that doesn't explain it.. it is not a dilemma at all... it wasn't anything that said you had to choose one or the other, you see you did not actually read the OP because the OP gave actual meaning to the question... so without using the bible explain how it is both a dilemma and how it is false...

How to be born again and have eternal life===== Pray!!!"Dear God, I know I’m a sinner, and I ask for your forgiveness. I believe Jesus Christ is Your Son. I believe that He died for my sin and that you raised Him to life. I want to trust Him as my Savior and follow Him as Lord, from this day forward. Guide my life and help me to do your will. I pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen."
Death will be cast into hell and eternal life is a born again believers gift from God.

God and Jesus are quoted a lot in the Bible. It makes sense to me to read the Bible and take their words to heart.
