Sometimes yes, and sadly, somethings haven't changed in 20 years.
I had to drive to the big city for a specialist appointment on Monday. Wow I don't want to do that again. Really tough finding our way there.
Today I had a nice visit with my cousin. She just lost her sister a short time ago. Really sad. But we had a nice uplifting time together.

my day had been good so far, going into town with my mom later to buy gifts for my dad for Fathers Day

Sorry to hear about your back. I hope it gets better with a good night's sleep.Today has been kinda blahh. Its storming, and i pulled a muscle in my back.

Got up early today.
My husband and I are thinking of moving to a cheaper place. It would mean moving from this lovely community and church and starting over socially.
I'd probably initially hate whatever place we moved to by comparison for the first little while.

I read a few entries from last year. Usually, I'd cringe. But it wasn't that bad this time.

I hear you there. Was I really like that 20 years ago? Blecch!
I just went to the store and my hungry man meals that I eat once a day are now $4 up from $3. What the heck. The rich of this country did some really bad stuff to the USA. Now the poor people can't afford food or gas. Reminds me of the rich man and Lazarus parable. Now I'm fuming!

There's a public hiking trail through the woods behind our house. I enjoy taking the Sneaky Labrador for a walk on that trail, but this time of year, the local spiders string their webs across the path, usually at face height. I really don't like walking into spider webs. I've learned to walk with my shillelagh (Irish walking stick) held out in front of me.
I was going to write something about the nightmare spiders we had in Florida, but I thought better of it.

I reckon it’s not as bad yet as a days wages for a loaf of bread! Talk about sticker shock!
Back muscles can be trouble. Hopefully it's nothing serious. I tore a muscle in my back and it took a year to heal since I kept getting other muscles that were giving me trouble afterwards.Today has been kinda blahh. Its storming, and i pulled a muscle in my back.
my day was good today, had a turkey sandwhich with hot & spicy mustard & it was good going into town today :)

When you love a difficult or toxic friend, its easy to let the hurt take over. It's easy to forget that we all have toxic elements to us at times.
Even harder is to keep believing and praying even when those friends disappoint you over and over again. But love suffers long and never fails.
It's not easy but I want to keep praying for these people who show up and keep disappointing me. God could have give up on me a long time ago. He had every right to. But He didnt. So I will keep believing that God will change these people that I care about. Even if it takes a very long time.

We as human beings do tend to fail each other, it is part of life to pray for them on the behalf of your love for them is the way to go, giving to God everything that is on your heart and to protect your family, friends, and loved ones and those who may not come around, or those who use you, to follow Christ is the way friend!

May you all know that God is with you, by the Holy Spirit of God that lives with-in you, the I am lives with-in you by his Spirit, and the Spirit of Christ also lives with in you! Trust and believe over the trials and difficulties of life as our bodies break down. Our hope is to edify and encourage others as we move through this life knowing that one day we will be translated into the Kingdom of God and receive the full reward for having love for God and love for others.
