that refers to a person on their own or on their own power obeying the law

.
Er no, the christian has the Holy Spirit:

But now, by dying to what once bound us, we have been released from the law so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit, and not in the old way of the written code. Rom7:6

we are in Christ!
We are in grace!
We have faith!

Matt 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill.

Philippians 4:13
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Hey, congratulations! For once you got something right!

You quoted Matthew (not Matt!) 5:17: Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill."

Jesus has fulfilled the law (and the prophets). So those of us who are in Christ have fulfilled the law. It no longer applies to us!

Hallelujah!!!

You did a Google search, did you?

We're not talking about European customs. We are talkijng about BIBLICAL customs.
Kings in the line of David elevated their mothers to the position of Queen - NOT their wives.

The BIBLICAL role of the "Queen Mother" was an office that was bestowed upon the mothers of the Kings of Israel but only to those kings in the line of David. The monarchy was divided into the TWO kingdoms - Judah in the south and Israel in the north.

Whereas the Northern Kingdom was ruled by 9 ruling houses - Judah continued to be ruled ONLY by the House of David – and it was in THIS kingdom that the Queen Mother ruled along with her son. They had many wives – but NONE were the Queen.

This ain't Europe . . .
Bathsheba was married to David and was already queen consort...when Solomon became king and married Pharaoh's daughter...actually he had numerous wives but I found no scripture specifically mentioning who was Queen alongside David or Solomon.

They would have this to read.....

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ(Son) for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Acts 8:14-16 Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John: Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost: (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus(Son).

Acts 19:5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus(Son).

Unfortunately, BreadOfDeath nor theefaith can own up to this, lest they be Excommunicado
Yes, RCC peer pressure can be enormous when one is faced with obeying Acts 2:38.

looks like son is ok with John and scripture

1 Jn 2:22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.

1 Jn 2:23 Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.

father and the son! Really?

Baptism:

Matt 28:19

The holy church obeys the command Of Jesus!

Ephesians 5:24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ…

Jn 15:5 apart from me you can do nothing so remain in Christ!

Keep his commandment!

matt 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

1 Jn 2:3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.

1 Jn 2:5 But who so keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.

His word: Matt 28:19

1 Jn 2:22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.

1 Jn 2:23 Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.

Matthew 24:35
Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
The son's name is "son"?

Is that RCC doctrine or did you make up that whopper?

no there are no doctrine changes

truth is immutable!

Truth must be revealed by God, and in its fullness in the sacred deposit of faith by Christ to his church! Eph 4:5 Jude 1:3 and must be taught by the church, or proposed for our belief by the apostles!
Matt 28:19-20 Lk 1:4 Jn 20:21 acts 8:31 Rom 1:5 col 2:7 1 Tim 3:15
matt 18:17

Christ and His church are one! acts 9:4 Acts 5:32 Jn 15:1-5

the church is commanded to teach and baptize (according to Matt 28:19) all men, not create doctrine!
The RCC is 100% doctrine change.

The RCC does not even resemble the Acts church in the slightest.

says who?

Jn 1:29
Jn 3:16
Lk 2:10-11
10 And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.

11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

Infant Baptism

Acts 2:38-39 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

Promise is to you’re children! Vs 39

This promise made in ez 36
A promise from God is a sacred oath, and a sacred oath is a sacrament!

Ez 36:25 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.

26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

Jn 3:5 born again by water and the spirit.

Acts 16:15 entire household baptized! Does not say except infants!

Ez 36:25 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness.

(It does not say accept infants!)

Baptism is the Christian initiation sacrament of the new covenant for all men. Matt 28:19 Jn 1:29 Jn 3:16

1 Corinthians 12:13
For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. (It does not say except infants!) (but it does say “all”)!

Lk 1:10-11 all people including infants

Thee faith is required for baptism.
Mk 16:16 acts 8:36-38

If it’s not possible (as in the case of infants) it’s not required.

But the promise of the parents to raise and educate the child in the faith is required, then the child is confirmed in thee faith at the age of reason.

Repentance is required for baptism. Acts 2:38

If there is no personal sin to repent of (as in the case of infants) then it’s not required.

For two thousand years the church founded by Christ on Peter and the apostles has always baptized infants!
The promise to their children per Acts 2:39 is for the gift of the Holy Ghost, not promising baptism.

The RCC cannot give babies the Holy Ghost.

This are speaking of their adult children, AKA) future generations....

....and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

Why do you write "Christ is risen" and depict Him as still on the cross?

Are you kidding? It depicts the greatest victory in human history!

God's great act of Love for us!

Pax et Bonum

Christ is risen!
Alleluia!

We have the Holy Spirit, and by not being under righteousness of obeying the law-including the ten commandments, but under grace, the power of sin has been removed from us, for:
The power of sin is the law 1Cor15:56

so you can sin all you want
No morals

I would like to order an private island with a harem and plenty of cold beer!

Do you think he realises that if he stumbles at just one point concerning the law, he is guilty of breaking all of it? James2:10

we are under grace!

but if we commit mortal sin we put ourselves back under law, so we must repent and go to the sacrament of confession

Your church is letting you down badly I'm afraid. They are not explaining the core of the covenant to you the Christian is under. The law God desires you to follow is written in your mind and placed on your heart at the point of conversion Jeremiah31, Heb8&10, have they never told you that? If the law is in your mind, you in your mind must know what that law is/how God wants you to live. If the law is in your heart, you in your heart must want to live as God desires you to live. So, if you could say, because you are not under righteousness of obeying the law, you can sin as much as you like, the law has not been placed in your heart, you ain't saved. It is no longer an external law, but an internal law for the believer, because, and only because that has happened, your sins and lawless deeds will be remembered no more. You have no righteousness of obeying the law
My advice would be, join a church where they actually teach you about the new covenant at its core, and the practical realities of it. You don't seem to be getting anywhere where you are now

I got a life twice: when I was "born of water" when my mother gave birth to me and again in 1977 when I was healed by Christ and was given the Holy Spirit.

If you really think that you got a life when you were baptized at 16 days old, you are under a delusion of the devil. You would be a super human if you had "a true heart in full assurance of faith, having your heart sprinkled from an evil conscience' when you were 16 days old!

baptism washes away all sin!
