If you believe that Mary - or ANYBODY else in Heaven is "dead" - then your lack of faith in the promises of Christ is pathetic.

As for Mary being the Queen Mother - you can whine ALL you want - but I already pointed to Scripture to prove it. Here's some more . . .

Back in post #607, I showed that Mary is the Ark of the New Covenant - and NOBODY has been avle to provide a Scriptural refutation of these verses.
In the Book of Revelation, we see the New Ark of the Covenant in Heaven being spoken of at the very end of Chapter 11:
Rev. 11:19

Then God's temple in heaven was opened, and the ark of his covenant could be seen in the temple. There were flashes of lightning, rumblings, and peals of thunder, an earthquake, and a violent hailstorm.

The very next verse is in Chapter 12
Rev. 12:1-2

A great sign appeared in the sky, a WOMAN clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a CROWN of twelve stars.
She was with child and wailed aloud in pain as she labored to give birth.

Rev. 12:4
She gave birth to a son, a male child, destined to rule all the nations with an iron rod.

We know that this child is Jesus.

Ummmm, WHO gave birth to Jesus??
Answer: The SAME person who Scripture calls the new "Ark of the Covenant" (Rev. 11:19).
WHY is she wearing a crown?

There is simply NO getting around the fact that the Woman here in Revelation 12 is Mary.

You are clearly deluded!!! People like you make me so glad that I am a Bible-believing Protestant! I cannot, for the life of me, understand how you and other Catholics believe the outright lies taught by the Roman Catholic church. You have accepted so many falsehoods and myths; it's no wonder that you cannot accept the truths of God.

I genuinely feel sorry for you and other RCCs. I will pray that some day, somehow, the eyes of your soul will finally be opened and you will discover the truth in Christ and God's word: the Bible.

That is no answer to the request to "Show us the scriptures where they baptized using "Father, Son, Holy Ghost".

Baptism in the command
Of Jesus! Matt 28:19

Ephesians 5:24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ…

Jn 15:5 apart from me you can do nothing so remain in Christ!

Keep his commandment!

matt 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

Matthew 24:35
Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

And YOUR belief that what John saw was all just "fantasy" shows me jusy how ignorant YOU are of Scripture. There is not ONE credible Scripture scholar who believes this.

What John saw was the TRUTH being conveyed therough sumbols, types and prophecies.

a) I am not "ignorant of Scripture". I know precisely what the Bible says.
b) You clearly contradict yourself when you write that "what John saw was the TRUTH being conveyed therough sumbols, types and prophecies" (even if you can't spell correctly).

Thank you fow illustrating to everybody here that you FAILED when asked to give a SCRIPTURAL refutation of my SCRIPTURAL arguments in post #687.
Nothing say, "I don't have a CLUE" like a blank slate.

I knew you'd fail - but I thought you's at LEAST give it a try . . .

Ummmmm, I'm NOT the one who stupidly used the terms, "Popery" or "Roman" Catholic Church.
That was YOU . . .

a) I never used the word "Popery" (other than quoting someone else). If so, show me where. Otherwise you're lying.
b) You have never heard of the Roman Catholic church? a) "The Catholic Church, also known as the Roman Catholic Church, is the largest Christian church, with 1.3 billion baptised Catholics worldwide as of 2019." Wikipedia and b) "Roman Catholicism, Christian church that has been the decisive spiritual force in the history of Western civilization. Along with Eastern Orthodoxy and Protestantism, it is one of the three major branches of Christianity. The Roman Catholic Church traces its history to Jesus Christ and the Apostles." Brittanica

I admit, I made a typo. However, that pales compared to the number of typos you have made in one (blasphemous, ignorant) post after another.

We agree on one thing though: There's nothing like debating with a hypocrite . . !

I conflated you qith another ignorant anti-Catholic, @userm who used the word, "Popery".

That's what I thought - you used a NON-Catholic source to glean information about CATHOLIC truth.
As I stated in post #658 - "Roman" or "Latin" simply refers to the Liturgical Rite - of which there are about TWENTY that comprise the ONE Catholic Church.

Ther ius al so the Maronite, Melkite, Coptic, Ruthenian, Byzantine, etc. - and they are ALL ub full communion with each other and with the Roman/Latin Rite. Liturgical Rites usually pony differ culturally, not doctrinally.
However - onlt a moron would refer to a Maronite Catholic as being part of the "Roman" Cathollic Church.

All you have are your idiotic pre-conceived notions - but when you are challenged to provide Scripture to support youtr ideas - you FAIL.

Nice job . . .

Ummmm, I've already shown you TWO.
And I'm sure if I look further - I will find a gaggle of them.

Here's some advice about debating:
Argue your points, if you can.
Pointing out typos only shows your inability to address the issues and makes your position that much weaker . . .

In response to your bizarre statement that I used a NON-Catholic source to glean information about CATHOLIC truth -- of course. Why would I go to a Catholic source? That is akin to asking a propaganda source about God.

May I suggest that you take a course in literacy? Followed by a course that teaches God's truth.

Why? Because you are obviously both semiliterate and confused.

For we maintain that a person is justified by faith apart from the works of the law. Rom3:28

works of the law refers to the mosaic law which was fulfilled by Christ!

paul also condemned works alone

but not faith and works!

Charity

Deut. 6:5
5 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

6 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:

Matthew 5:16
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

John 8:42 Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.

John 14:28
Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.

1 cor 13:2 all faith without charity avails nothing.

1 cor 13:12 now abide faith, hope, and charity, and the greatest of these is charity.

If salvation was by “faith alone” then faith would be the greatest!!!

If we are saved by faith alone then when we first believed we would be saved?

Romans 13:11
…our salvation nearer than when we believed.

For we maintain that a person is justified by faith apart from the works of the law. Rom3:28

Matt 24:13 endures to the end.

Mark 13:13
And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

Rev 2:26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:

Heb 3:14 For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;

Heb 6:11 And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end:

1. Romans 11:22 – God’s kindness, if you continue in His kindness

2. Colossians 1:21-23 – holy and blameless, if you continue in the faith"

3. The race of faith: the example of Paul

4. Hebrews 12:22-25: "we shall not escape if we turn away from Him"

5. Hebrews 4:1-3, 9-12: "strive to enter the rest of God"

6.Hebrews 6:4-9 – those who became partakers of the holy spirit and fell away

7. Hebrews 10:23-29, 35-39: "if we sin willfully", "if anyone draws back".

8. Matthew 24:13: He that endures to the end, the same shall be saved

9. Hebrews 3:4-6: Holding fast our confidence firm until the end

10. Matthew 24:13: "But the one who endures to the end will be saved"

11. 1 John 2:24-25 – "if what you heard from the beginning abides in you"

12. 2 John 8-9 : to "everyone who goes on ahead and does not abide in the teaching of Christ

13. 2 Peter 1:5-11 : "Make every effort to supplement your faith"

14. Philippians 2:12-16: "work out your salvation with fear and trembling"

15. 1 Timothy 6:10-16: the love of money

16. Galatians 5:2-4 "Severed from Christ"

17. 2 Timothy 2:11-13: "if we deny him, he will also deny us"

18. James 5:19-20: the wandered brother

19. Some will abandon the faith

20. 1 Timothy 5:8: "he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever"

22. The real family of Jesus: "Those who hear the Word of God and do it"

23. 1 Corinthians 5:5: "so that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord"

24. Peter 2: "It would have been better for them never to have known the way of righteousness"

25. Jude: "Turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness" - a much relevant warning

26. 1 Cor. 9:27 ....Lest I myself might become a castaway

Romans 13:11
And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.

So salvation by “faith alone” is completely false and impossible!

But if you insist on you’re 16th century novelty yes

If anyone says you can be justified by “faith alone” let him be anathema!

Scripture then condemns you!

1 Corinthians 16:22
If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema.

“Faith alone” avails NOTHING!

Well that's refreshing. A fellow catholic of yours refused to answer a question of mine repeatedly asked about catholicism because he said he and his church don't condemn people. Well done for giving your forthright belief. Im impressed. Its water off a ducks back to me though

There is a Catholic canon and a Protestant canon. Your ignorance is showing again. Better say another prayer to dead Mary.

Now we know why they need a string of beads to keep track of all those the Hail Mary's ... lol

It would be better if they would just pray to Jesus --- the Lord of lords and King of kings. The Almighty!
