Yes, the Lord knows those that are His, but sometimes, I believe, those who are His do not know that they are. On the other hand, there are some who presume that they have something, which they do not:

"Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican.
The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.
I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.

I have been given a solution, a way to check the Spirit versus the spirit for me. Does it work for others? God knows!

When God speaks through the mouth of man to me, it is certainly audible! Mostly He speaks to me when I spend my early morning time reading the Bible and talking to Him. My ears, the ones on the side of my physical head, seldom hear the sound of His voice.

I guess I am failing to get your understanding Byrd. I fully believe that Christians right now on avg live longer than the world, because of not abusing themselves as many in the world do. No doubt they live happier lives which helps as well. If that is what you mean then I fully agree. That wasn't actually the topic being discussed however, but hopefully that is what you meant. Christians do not have infighting sir, you are very mistaken about that. If a person rebels, they have to be put out of the Congregation.
