You are sorry for your annoyance of 2,000 years of Catholic PHILOSOPHIES of Catholic men?

Thanks....when is that going to cease for the benefit of Catholics?

Sure it is NOBEL to collect the peoples monetary contributions and establish Orphanages for parentless children.
Sure it is NOBEL to give food, clothing, housing, discipline, philosophies of men and sexual escapades to Orphaned children.
Sure it is NOBEL to collect the peoples monetary contributions and establish a collection of artworks and store them as private hidden treasures.

James 1:
[27] Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

Matt 6:
[19] Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:

Col 2:
[8] Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

The many hearts according to Gods Word is the hearts of men.
The sword Simeon is talking about Is Gods Spiritual Sword of Power, who IS Christ.

Heb 4:
[12] For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Gods POWER can pierce and kill a wicked heart of man as quickly as Gods Power can Restore and Save a wicked heart of man.
None shall avoid Gods POWER. He SHALL divide the Saved (heart) circumcised men from the unSaved (heart) uncircumcised men.

Words of Scriptural knowledge are literal.
Spiritual understanding of the literal knowledge, According to God, is Spiritual.

Sorry but that verse is not about Jesus' mother, Mary. Revelation is a vision given to John, full of allegorical symbols.
That's your private opinion, and you offer no explanation as to who that woman is in Rev. 12:1.
Just say you have no answer to my question in post #897, like you run from all of my questions.

No @theefaith it isn't, apart from the Catholic church. Being born again is have the Holy Spirit come to live in you after you turn your life over to Jesus. Have you ever done that? I know that you know ABOUT God and Jesus in a religious and pious way and that you are sincere in your beliefs, but do you actually KNOW them intimately as in a two way relationship.

really? There is only one truth!

Sacraments

Sacraments instituted by Christ for the salvation of souls!

It’s not a do it yourself religion!
It’s not a bible study!

It’s a covenant!

Not by “faith alone”
“Faith alone” not biblical
You may think “Accept Jesus Christ as you personal Lord and savior” is biblical but there is no such verse in your bible!

Faith and the sacraments in the church founded by the authority Christ on Peter and the apostles is biblical!

Faith and baptism is the biblical initiation into the new covenant and member is Christ and His holy church!
Ez 36:25-27 Mk 16:16 acts 8:36-38

You cannot enter a covenant by “faith alone” must be a ritual outward sign!
Faith and baptism! Mk 16:16 acts 8:36-38

Merits of christ’s passion, death, and precious blood are applied in the sacraments! Jn 1:16

Colossians 1:20
And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

Matt 26:28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

Acts 22:16
And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

Rom 3:24
Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

1 pet 1:2 Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.

Heb 10:22
Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

Acts 2:47
Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

Romans 5:5
And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

1 Corinthians 12:13
For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

Galatians 3:27
For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

Lk 1: 72 To perform the mercy promised to our fathers, and to remember his holy covenant;

73 The oath which he sware to our father Abraham,

74 That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear,

There is only one true church founded by Christ on Peter and the apostles and their successors is the new covenant body of Christ! Matt 1:18 & Jn 10:16 one fold

1 Timothy 3:15
But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.

Christ and His church are one: acts 9 why persecute me?

Eph 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

Sacraments are the fruit of the sacrifice!
The holy sacrifice of Christ, His passion, blood, and death producing unlimited fruits of divine grace, actual and sanctifying grace! Jn 1:29 Jn 1:16-17 Jn 10:10

“This promise” (sacred oath of God or sacrament) of the Father acts 2:38-39 with reference to ez 36:25-27 Also a mystery Mk 4:11 Eph 5:32 eph 6:19 1 Tim 3:9 3:16 Col 1:27 2:2 4:3

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

Ez 36:25 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.

26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

Jn 3:5 born again by water and the spirit.

Heb 7:21 For those priests were made without an oath; but this with an oath by him that said unto him, The Lord sware and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec
(Oath = sacrament)

Hebrews 8:6
But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises. Based on Jer 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:

A promise is a sacred oath or sacrament!
Baptismal regeneration is the promise of the Father for union in the new covenant!

The church and the seven sacraments are necessary for salvation

Better covenant on better promises

2 Timothy 1:1
Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, according to the promise of life which is in Christ Jesus,

Life of supernatural grace merited by Christ in His passion and death!

An oath to sacramental life in the new covenant in union with the mediator and communion with God, and the saints!

Promise of the Father acts 2:23-39
Promise is an oath and an oath is a sacrament! This promise of the sacrament of baptism refers to ez. 36:25-27

1 Corinthians 12:13
For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

Galatians 3:27
For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

1 Pet 3:20
Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.

21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us!
(Ark of Noah a type of the church, member of Christ and his church and salvation by baptism!)
(Outside the ark all died and outside the church there is no salvation!)

St. Paul tells the faithful at Ephesus that they have been “sealed with the promised holy Spirit.” This is in terms of an indelible character imprinted on the soul in the sacraments of baptism and confirmation. It is not as if this invisible mark is simply decorative. Rather, through it, we are enabled to participate in Christ’s mission and in his offices of priest, prophet, and king. Eph 1:13

Sealed by God eph 1:13 in the ark of salvation by baptism just as Noah was sealed by God in the ark of the flood gen 7:16

Sealed in the ark, sealed in the church the ark of salvation by baptism!

Jn 1:5-5 abide in Him, apart from Him you can do nothing.

Jn 10:10 life, (grace more abundantly)
Jn 1: 16 And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.

Jn 1:16-17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.
(Thru faith and the sacraments!)

ABSOLUTELY NOT, silly!!!! Being born again is when a person is infilled by the Holy Spirit, after being CONVICTED OF THEIR SIN, repenting and calling out to God IN FAITH (that He gifts Eph 2:8,9) to apply the SIN OFFERING of Jesus on the cross to their lives. THEN as Christians, they can be Baptized as born again Believers.

"Baptism" IS "Immersion" - i.e. to be "Overwhelmed". The silly sprinkling thing that Catholics do is really just ridiculous - but obviously less troublesome for their equally contrived Paedobaptism rituals. I get a kick out of the silly pictures of Jesus, 4-spoked halo and all, standing in the river, with John and his little measuring dipper dripping water over Him. COME ON!!!!!!

Sacraments instituted by Christ for the salvation of souls! BLa, BLa, Bla

THAT was a lot of work for NOTHING.

Being Born Again is BY FAITH (Heb 11:1) Gifted by God (Eph 2:8,9)(Rom 10:17) in the perfect SIN OFFERING of Jesus on the Cross to cleans us from sin, and make us children of God, instead of Lost Sinners.

There's no such thing as a "Sacrament". They're nothing more than phony requirements that the Catholics use to keep their victims under their thumb.

If you refuse to read your bible and listen to the guidance of the Holy Spirit you are in danger. We don't want you to be in danger @theefaith that is why we are trying to show you a better way.
As I've said before i realise it may be hard to leave the CC but at least think about what we have said and act on it even if you stay where you are. I wonder if you are a priest as I have never met anybody before who answers in the way you do. Do not be afraid to ask God directly if what has been said to you is true. He wants to show you. cast aside your pride and humbly ask to show you what he has shown us. By sticking to your guns you are doing yourself no favours. God loves you, he has your best interests at heart and wants to adopt you as he has adopted those of us who are responding to your posts in a way that you can't understand.

Ask Him to enlighten the eyes of your heart, because it is only by that revelation that we can see the real Jesus and the real truth. May God bless you and may his Holy Spirit reveal the truth to you.

Luke 24:45
Then he opened their minds so they could understand the Scriptures.

Ephesians 1:17-19
I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength

Uh oh....remember that man hanging next to Jesus?
Jesus said to that man....

Luke 23
[43] And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.

Was that man saved?
If so, WHY?
If not, WHY NOT?
What sacraments and rituals did that man do?

Congratulations. It may surprise you to know that full emersion is viewed as a valid form of baptism, we don't think it is the only valid form. Scripture is not clear on the exact method, but the pouring method is strongly implied in Scripture. We have to back in time and find out why no one objected to pouring, as the method of baptism is explicitly spelled out in a Christian document going all the way back to 70 A.D., (scroll to chapter 7.)when there was no "Bible" as we know it, when most of the Apostles were still alive. The Didache is not inspired, but that is no excuse to ignore it as it is considered as authentic church history.

Baptismal-Pool-1024x641.jpg

1st century baptismal pool for full emersion.

Now, we can agree with our Fundamentalist friends in that full immersion does bring out the meaning of the sacrament more fully than pouring and sprinkling. The Catechism of the Catholic Church makes this clear in paragraph 1239.

But that doesn’t mean non-immersion baptisms are invalid. In fact, we have a biblical and historical precedent for a pouring, or at least a non-immersion, method. The prophet Ezekiel, in 36:25, speaks of God sprinkling clean water when the new covenant is made. Peter, in his Pentecost sermon, teaches God pours out the Holy Spirit, which in Acts 2:38 we’re told is done in baptism.

The Didache, a first-century Christian catechism dating to around A.D. 70, gives instruction on how to baptize stating, “Pour over the head three times.”

So, whether you’ve been dunked, sprinkled, or had water poured on your head, no need to fret, you’ve been validly baptized.

Simeon is not talking about the Bible piercing Mary's soul, that doesn't make sense. Even if you are correct, who else in Scripture had their soul pierced???

Of course the created is not equal to the creator.
Of course Mankind is born in sin.
Of course Mankind commits sin.
Of course Mary herself knew she needed Saving from her sin.

Luke 1:
[47] And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.

Savior from WHAT? SIN!

Her Salvation WHEN?
At her age approx 50 yrs old....not at her own natural birth.
Acts 1 & 2

there are two way to have a savior
To be forgiven of past sins and preserved from future sins

Mary in the first moment of her creation by God in virtue of the merits of Christ’s blood and sacrifice was preserved from original sin and all sin!

so the glory is to God!
Lk 1:49

Matthew 6:6
But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

Please will you provide scripture to confirm that 'Prayer is directed to God thru the intercession of Mary and the saints!'

Mary in the first moment of her creation by God...
Mary was not "created" by God! That is contrary to the origin of the female. God took a rib out of Adam to reproduce another human being. Adam was the ONLY created human although we are all essentially a re-production of God's creation. Therefore, Mary was not "specially" created to bear the Savior.
in virtue of the merits of Christ’s blood and sacrifice was preserved from original sin and all sin!
Neither was Mary nor any other human being has been "preserved from original sin and all sin".

What Luke 1:49 really says: "...for he who is mighty has done great things for me, and holy is his name."

That is true as is! But it has nothing to do with keeping Mary from original sin and you have attempted many, many, many times in many threads to try and promote your obsession with Mariolatry worship.

You have also been asked multiple times to prove your obsessions but cannot do so because they are not in scripture.
