This has GOT TO BE the funniest thing I've seen here in quite a while!!!!
How does a Catholic handle Mark 3:31-35 when Mary and her kids came to grab Jesus, because they thought He'd gone nuts?????
To use an English term - clear as mud.
WHAT!Mary ever virgin, mother of God, is all powerful!
I did not say “how it is” or by what means she is all powerful!
I did not say it was cos she is God!
Mary’s prayers are all powerful not cos she is God but because her son is God!
and on becoming man He (Jesus) obeyed his own commandments
you might check out the one that says “honor Thy father and mother”
The time set by almighty God for the public ministry of Christ had not come, Jesus Christ still performed the miracle cos his mother interceded, thus a higher law, “honor thy father and mother” if ANYONE else asked it would NOT have been done!
John 2
and cos of her intercession the disciples believed in Him!
Jn 2:11
Is Paul Divine?
Phil 4:13 I can do all things in Christ who strengthens me.
Jn 15:5 apart from me you can do nothing!
I said I am saved. I never said I have the possibility to deny Christ.
“If we suffer, we shall also reign with him...”
That applies to me:
for example conversing with a majority Catholics is suffering.
for example a cheating, lying, dictator President is suffering.
for example being in the presence of corrupt men OF the world is suffering.
“If we deny him”....does not apply to me.
“I have NOT denied Him”. “I can NOT deny Him”.
Every UNSAVED person has the “possibility” to deny Christ.
That applies to you, who says you are “not saved”.
That does not apply to me, because “I am saved”.
Good enough for Angels!
Good enough for the Bible!
Good enough for me!
Hail Mary! Full of grace, the Lord is with thee, blessed art thou among women,
Lk 1:28 blessed is the fruit of thy womb, (Jesus) Lk 1:42 Holy Mary, mother of God, Lk 1:43 pray for us sinners, now,
rev 5:8 and at the hour of our death, Matt 24:13 amen!
WHAT!
ANOTHER CUT-AND-PASTE POST????
Are you here to learn or to teach?
Sorry queen Esther!
and queen Esther as a type of queen Mary!
Angels did not say what you claim.
The Bible does say what you claim.
Very sad.
I would say that Christ has "left the building" of the RCC years ago.Christ and His apostolic church are one!
Matt 5:14
Jn 15:1
Acts 9:4
eph 5:32
1 Tim 3:15
@theefaith
Will you stop dancing around and answer the questions...?
Will you...QUOTE scripture that says Mary was sinless?
Will you ...Tell us what MARY says to you when you pray TO her?
I would say that Christ has "left the building" of the RCC years ago.
But nevertheless in regards to your list of verses...without any text is disrespectful.
Matt 5:14-15...You are the light of the world. A city seated on a mountain cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle and put it under a bushel, but upon a candlestick, that it may shine to all that are in the house.
That is all about "the great commission." Christians are to be messengers of the gospel. But it certainly does not mean the RCC is the
only legitimate means to spread the gospel - especially because of its heretical traditions!
Acts 9:4 - And falling on the ground, he heard a voice saying to him: "Saul, Saul, why persecute me?"
Christ and his Universal church are one. To persecute the body of Christ, therefore, was to persecute him personally.
Eph 5:32 - This is a great mystery, and I am applying it to Christ and the church.
The Vulgate wrongly translates, "This is a great sacrament," which the Roman church manufactured. (this in spite of the blunder having been long ago exposed by their own commentators, Cajetan and Estius) for making marriage a sacrament; it is plain not marriage in general, but that of Christ and the Church, is what is said to be a "great mystery," as the words following prove, "I say it in regard to Christ and to the Church" (so the Greek is best translated).
1 Tim 3:15 - if I am delayed, you may know how one ought to behave in the household of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and bulwark of the truth.
This does not mean in a place of public worship. It refers to the church as a body of believers. The church is called the "household of God," because it is that in which God dwells. Formerly, his unique residence was in the temple at Jerusalem; now that the temple is destroyed, it is the church of Christ, among his people.
This does not refer to creeds or to the decisions of synods and councils; but to the living spirit of truth and piety "in" the church itself. We as individuals are "God's temple" and are representatives of God's church on earth. It does not mean any specific denomination; it means the "invisible body of Christ."

it is as not the angel Gabriel?
Like is not scripture?
Luke 1:28
Wycliffe Bible
28 And the angel entered to her, and said, Hail, full of grace; the Lord is with thee; blessed be thou among women.
Not a catholic version!
It's called "my constitutional rights" to give my opinion, especially since all those "traditions" of the RCC give me the right to speak of the heresies within the kind of system that keeps their members by means of "fear" rather than the truth of scripture.“I would say” by what authority do you have to declare anything!
I do not deny Christ and I am saved. Have been for 44 years. And baptised. And received the Holy Spirit. Do not judge by your own standards or false doctrines. I have blessed assurance that Jesus is mine and I am his. I do not need your approval or the approval of any other person. I have God's. And it is wonderful and glorious.either you’re not really saved or you cannot deny Christ!
can’t be both!
Our Father in heaven, holy is your name, let your kingdom come and your will be done on the earth as it is done in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive our sins as we forgive those who sin against us. Do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours for ever. amen.Good enough for Angels!
