Mary is our spiritual mother

Mary is the Mother of the living in Christ and the new creation!

Genesis 3:20
And Adam called his wife's name Eve; because she was the mother of all living.

John 19:26-27
When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son! Then saith has he to the disciple, Behold thy mother! And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home.

Jesus is not just asking John to care for His mother, if so He would have said so.

Jesus is in the very least making Mary John’s spiritual mother! And if the apostle John needs a spiritual mother so do we!
What is the family of God without a mother? The mother is the heart of the family! Jesus said I will not leave you orphans! Jn 14:18 He proved Mary the mother of one disciple then He does so for all disciples!

As eve was the mother of all the living in the first creation, gen 3:20 so Mary is the mother of all those who live in Christ and the new creation!

Rev 12:17 our spiritual mother!

Rachel is spiritual mother of Israel!
A type of Mary as spiritual mother of Christians!

The 12 sons of Jacob have 4 biological mothers, but Rachel is the spiritual mother of all Israel!

Matt 2:18 In Rama was there a voice heard, lamentation, and weeping, and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children, and would not be comforted, because they are no more.

* Your Opinions are clear and likely the Opinions you were taught by Catholics....However they are not verified in Scripture.

no but scripture says not saved until the end!

DO you NOT KNOW.....ALL Scripture is True......?
YET ALL Scripture DOES NOT APPLY to ALL individuals...?

DO you NOT KNOW....You are NOT qualified to determine which Scripture DO and DO NOT APPPLY to Other Individuals?

You are qualified to SPEAK for Yourself. You have revealed you are NOT “IN” Christ because you are waiting to be Saved. That’s you exercising your own freewill will.

And just cos you say you’re saved don’t make you saved!

Well no duh! I am SAVED, because Jesus’ Said So, AND I Choose to Trust HE IS THE TRUTH.

acts 2:38/39 this promise (ez 36:25-27) is to you’re CHILDREN!

“Little children”.... are “Young in Knowledge”.
“Parents in charge of their “little children”.... teach them the TRUTH and when they leave mommy and daddy, they will BE ARMED with the TRUTH..PREPARED to make their OWN Confession of Belief and Converted.

No man can CONFESS BELIEF for an OTHER!
No man can CAUSE an other to become Converted!

Sprinkling water on a baby’s head is not Confession of Belief.
Buying a seven year old a new outfit and putting them in a scheduled ceremony display, has nothing whatsoever to do with them being mature enough to know the difference between the thoughts of their mind or the thought of their heart.

Jesus speaking to the disciple!
Therefore it applies to all of his disciples!
“Behold Thy mother”!!!
Jesus was speaking to a specific person when he said that.

John 19:26-27
When Jesus saw his mother there, and the standing near by, he said to her, ‘Woman, here is your son,’ and to the disciple, ‘Here is your mother.’ From that time on, this disciple took her into his home.
the disciple - only one - whom he loved i.e. John

That doesn't follow logically. He spoke this to one disciple only: John. Therefore it does not apply to all disciples. He never said that Mary was the mother of all disciples.

Sola scriptura.
I've just told him the same thing before I read your post.

The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off—for all whom the Lord our God will call.”

Absolutely it is. It is for anybody who chooses to accept Jesus. And the promise is open to our children who are no longer babies but old enough to make that choice for themselves. I am a mother. I had three babies. They were and still are my children even though they are now parents themselves.

where does it say accept Jesus in those verses?

where does the Bible say “accept Jesus as your personal lord and savior “???

NO? So what about this;
Ephesians 2:8-9
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.

reference to the redemption accomplished by Christ not salvation

Redemption, Justification, Sanctification, and Salvation!

Redemption: 100 percent the work of God, thru the life, death, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus Christ! All mankind are redeemed in Christ! Eph 2
Galatians 2:16 3:13
Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law...
Christ alone accomplished the redemption of mankind apart from any works on our part!

(Redemption is not Salvation)
Rom 5:10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

Justification: our acceptance of redemption thru faith and baptism! Become a disciple and member of Christ and His Church! Jn 3:5 acts 2:38 Mk 16:16 He who believes and is baptized shall be saved. 1 Corinthians 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. Galatians 3:27
For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

Sanctification: the life of grace in the holy sacrifice of the mass and sacraments, prayer, virture, and good works, the just living by faith, and faith working thru love! Phil 1:29 called to suffer with Christ.
All done in Christ thru His grace! Jn 15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

Salvation: a christian in the state if grace at the moment of death we enter into the salvation of the Lord! Mt 24:44-47 faithful servant! Jn 15:1-5 abide in me. Mt 24:13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
Heb 3:14 For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;
Heb 6:11 And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end:
Heb 4:14 For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;
Rom 13:11 ...for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.

Suffering required for glorification with Christ!

Romans 8:17
And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

2 Timothy 2:12
If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:

John 1:11-13
11 He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. 12 Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— 13 children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.

@theefaith do you never feel that you want the freedom from religion and assurance of that I have and not just me but
the church founded by Christ on Peter and the apostles
Yes the Church founded by Christ Jesus which includes all who love him whatever denomination. All those people who stand on the Rock which is Jesus who is the foundation of our faith. Those who not build on Jesus will be swept away like the man who built his house on sand.

You are speaking in riddles. I haven't a clue what you mean by that remark. But let me tell you that the Holy Spirit will come to dwell in all those who are spiritually re-born, including me. (But not including infants who are supposed to be born again through so-called baptism).

Eph 2:20

There was only one disciple of the twelve at the cross as the others had abandoned Jesus. Even Peter who had denied knowing him. A church built on anything other than Jesus is not a true Church.

Confess your sins one to another is why you try to pray to Mary and saints who cannot hear you?

My Bible says "Confess your faults one to another... I confess my sins to my God

no the other part of that verse
The prayer of a righteous man avails much how much more the mother of the savior, the mother of the redeemer, the mother of God, the mother of our salvation
The prayers of Mary are all powerful!

how do you know Mary cannot hear us?

is not “knowledge” one of the gifts of the spirit?

I'm ignoring that. You don't seem to be able to have a proper conversation, just posting a verse or two doesn't move the conversation along.

@theefaith You are really missing out. By holding so firmly to the Catholic teaching you are denying yourself the wonder and freedom of knowing Jesus in a closer and more intimate way. But it seems you would rather choose death than life in Christ. It is a life changing event. Relationship is so much better than religion any day of the week. But you have to choose it. You have to turn your back on all that has gone before and turn your life over to Jesus - repenting and receiving Jesus not into your mind but into your heart. He is knocking at the door of your heart, please let him come in to you.

Rev 5:8...And when he had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each holding a harp, and with golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints;

The prayers of the saints are those saints who are on earth praying up to the Father.

Those prayers to Mary are not a part of them because they were sent to the wrong person.

where does it say that in that verse

it says the saints and that’s all the saints

You're all about Mary, she can't save you only her Son can do that. She can't hear you prayers, she can't send angels to minister to you. Why would this wonderful woman not have her eternal rest? Why is she subject to the demands of people who know no difference. You should be all about Jesus,
Hebrews 5:9
In this way, God qualified him as a perfect High Priest, and he became the source of eternal salvation for all those who obey him.
To learn to obey Him we need to follow him,
