Jesus is telling us that if you murder, He will judge you.

Sure He will if the murderer doesn't repent. But Christians do not kill people nor look for excuses to kill people.

He wants us to obey and trust Him. Christians have been persecuted since the beginning. Read Acts. Read His promises to take care of us, and believe Him. If the Lord is not helping us we need to examine our lives and STUDY His Word. It is filled with promises to take care of us.

So all these folks in America who call themselves Israelites are obligated to execute, gays, adulterers, rebellious children and those who work on weekends as Moses COMMANDED?

Well go back and read the issuing of the Mosaic Law and you will know the answer. But I will tell you -No! And the bible tells us why no! But as they live still under the MOsaic Covenant if they are devout Jews, then, if they lived in an isolated and segragated community outside of Israel, there is a sound argument why living under the Mosaic Law would make sense to them as a form of human government.

Israel is gods Covenanted people living in the land God promised them to live in! God established rules for Israel to govern itdself in the land under Gods theocracy!

Teh church is a people with no nation, we are Jew and gentile culled out from all lands.

We are called to obey the laws of the lands we live in! (With the exception of course if a law demands we defy th eWord of god). the reason why most nations have death penalties for murder is because it was ingrained in humanith through Noah, Shem,, Ham, Japheth.

The church is not a nation in a land where we need to establish specific rules to live in order and peaceably.

We are called to obey governing authorities. The church is not a government over a nation so we have no death penalty. That is left to teh other servants of God- human government! If they keep teh death penalty, Paul said he was notr afraid to die if he did something worthy of death! Wow that is no rebuke against governments having a death penalty! Remember this is from the man who wrote most of teh New TEstament under the guidance of God!
