wait, you dont believe that hell is eternal torment??
It was God's plan that all would be saved, all were elected to be saved, but then sin and unbelief entered in. So now what?Ephesians 1:4-5
Acts 13:48
1 peter 2:8
Romans 8:28-29
John 6:39
just a few verses to show the doctrine of election is Biblical.

Strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. (Matthew 7:14 KJV)

What does that say about Calvinism? Remember it is an 'ism.this is a common misconstrued point. Yes, God would love for everyone to be saved. But He cannot let sin go unpunished.
1. Jesus’ death was for the elect only.
2. The majority of mankind will end up in hell.
3. The scariest truth in the universe is God is perfect, and we are not.
4. God cannot let some sins slip, He is just, fair, and honest. He must punish all accordingly.
5. Not everyone is of the elect. And God knew this before He created the universe.

The same could be said of Arminianism.it says that calvinism is merely a name given to the doctrine preached originally by the apostles, there is no difference between calvinism and what the original apostles taught. The only difference is john calvin neatly packaged it so that others may easily understand how salvation happens. Think of calvinism as the cliff notes version of the NT.

We have the authoritative teaching of Jesus here. Perhaps the best page to begin are the Beautitudes beginning on page 6.

Not one Scripture reveals ONCE God Gives a man His Gift of Salvation....that Gift IS or CAN be Removed from that man.
There’s a few scriptures that show that man can indeed nullify the gift:
Luke 12:45-46
Romans 11:20-23
1 Corinthians 9:27
Colossians 1:21-23
Hebrews 10:26-27
But I suspect that these scriptures were taken away from you:
“then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts.” (Luke 8:12)
Those scriptures DO NOT REVEAL a man has Received Salvation...
interesting, i was just thinking the same thing about you arminianists.
Ok, we get it. Your name is Lifelong Sinner; your main agenda on Christian Forums is to delude every Christian into believing they are nothing but sinners and should continue to sin freely because God will/has forgive(n) them for all the sin they will ever commit.so do you arminianists really doubt that there are false converts? Why do yall think salvation is so easy??
What are the elect elected to/for?this is a common misconstrued point. Yes, God would love for everyone to be saved. But He cannot let sin go unpunished.

I didn't realize Calvinism taught to Keep the 10 Commandments. Learn something new everyday.it says that calvinism is merely a name given to the doctrine preached originally by the apostles, there is no difference between calvinism and what the original apostles taught. The only difference is john calvin neatly packaged it so that others may easily understand how salvation happens. Think of calvinism as the cliff notes version of the NT.
(2Pe 2:20) For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. Those scriptures DO NOT REVEAL a man has Received Salvation....
So maybe you could take anyone of those verses and Highlight a man HAVING RECEIVED SALVATION and THEN LOST HIS SALVATION.
Don't forget:There’s a few scriptures that show that man can indeed nullify the gift:
