Well, I asked you who taught you this and you never answered. You just doubled down into another anti-Catholic rant that twists Christian history. Sooooooo WHO TAUGHT YOU THIS?????Silly Mary of course I do. The RCC church is a sad story of heretics and false teachings starting around 400 AD and continues today. Its most proud moments are in the dark ages. They were in fact trying to keep the uninformed in darkness and without knowledge by doing everything they could to prevent the common folk from having access to the scriptures. The RCC church has a rap sheet longer than a roll of toilet paper. Crooked Popes, False Popes, Insane Popes, and supposable all infallible. There are so many false teachings in the CC that it's difficult to list them all.
There are evil, crooked, and false teachers that have been involved in every know denomination but the CC has been consistent with problems. The early church had them too. Simon Magus was one of the first. Some even think Simon Magus was part of the downfall of the church in Rome. I'm not sure of that myself.
Some of us come down directly and bluntly about our views concerning the doctrine of the CC not because we hate Catholics but because we pray and hope they will see the truth before it's too late. I feel the same way about JW, SDA, and Mormons.
Where is your evidence that The Church keeping the common folk from having access to Scripture?
Soooooo Protestant denominations haven't been "consistent with problems"? Are you being serious? The very first Protestant (Luther) had "problems" which is why some men broke away from him because of his "problems" (like wanting to remove books from the NT). Those men then had problems and the men of that denomination broke away from them and so on and so on until we get people like you, 500 years later, that have fallen FAR from the original Protestant. But YOU don't have any "problems"...do you TEXBOW? YOU are the one who can point out everyone else's "problem"? Simply fascinating..........
To be direct and blunt is fine. To pretend that Protestantism is any different than Catholicism in it's problems is hypocriticale. Are you a hypocrite TEXBOW? How about your friend @Ferris Bueller who "liked" your post? Do you agree with everything he says? Both of you disagree with The Church but I bet both of you disagree with each other all the time on this forum. Is that a problem TEXBOW? Of course it isn't because Ferris and the Mormons and Catholics and JW's will always be wrong and you will always be right....Won't you TEXBOW?
I'm just being direct and blunt about your views! But then again YOU, the leader of your church, will never be "evil, crooked and a false teacher. Will you? Of couse we will never know since I don't know your doctrine. You can find my doctrine anytime you want. Catechism of the Catholic Church (vatican.va)
Where can I find your doctrine TEXBOW? Well, that's a problem now isn't it.........
