Praying For The Church
1Pet 5:6...........Heavenly Father, we humble ourselves under Your mighty hand.
1Jn 1:9.............Forgive us for our sins, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Heb 10:22.........Let us draw near to You with a true heart in full assurance of faith,
Heb 10:22.........having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience,
Heb 10:22.........and our bodies washed with pure water.
Col 3:16............Let Your Word dwell in us richly.
Col 1:9..............Fill us with the knowledge of Your will,
Col 1:9..............in all wisdom and spiritual understanding,
Col 1:10............that we may live and conduct ourselves in a manner worthy of You,

I was ill for a while and then lost my motivation to post but I keep popping in to see if there may be something to interest me. I will try to get back to how I was.
I am praying now for God to help you stay motivated in the work He has for you to do. It is not night yet!

From Zion, perfect in beauty, God shines forth.
The world today has a distorted view of your church Lord. Christians are seen as intolerant and judgmental; laying down the law and pointing pious fingers at people. Please forgive us Lord for creating this image of your Church which is meant to be Beautiful - the perfection of beauty', and help us to be what you have chosen and created us to be - a people so close to you heart that in us you 'shine forth' in this dark world so that the lost can see that we are different and be drawn to Jesus.
Help us Holy Spirit to reflect the beauty of Jesus for the world to see. Forgive us Lord for our intolerance and for being judgmental, but rather, let us bring your love to those who desperately need it.

Think very carefully about your strategy. Some pastors end up running a building instead of raising disciples! Let’s try to be aware of the very subtle pressures on our time, plans, mission & theology that modern models of consumer Christianity have brought. Jarrod Cooper
