Just wanted to reveal some obvious facts for whoever thinks that The Apocalypse will happen in their lifetime.
Take a look here: List of dates predicted for apocalyptic events - Wikipedia

The list is long but also notice how more frequent predictions become in the recent centuries. People are absolutely convinced that something will happen in their lifetime. Lol

These are almost cult-like groups of people who for reasons unknown to me, think that the world is going to end in their lifetime.

Prophecy proved true here today.
2Pet 3:3-9
3Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, 4And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. 5For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: 6Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: 7But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

8But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 9The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Of course It could happen in our lifetime. Just turn on the news. I wouldn’t be surprised if Ezekiel 38/39 happens tomorrow.

Seriously? Did you look at that list through the centuries? Why is this such a need for people ? This is what’s fascinating to me. I don’t concern myself if the world is going to end because only the Father knows the time. No one else. No one! Not even The Son.
So I don’t get why people preoccupy themselves with this idea.

Alien Force Symbol

Alien Force Symbol (according to Scientology was a figure 8 or infinity symbol or many other individuals)
1. 9/11/2001 + 8 Years = Norway Spiral 2009 (UFO GUARDIAN DIAGRAM)
2. 3/8/2014 (Missing Flight 370) + 8 Years = Planet Jupiter 2022 (October ? matching October 1982 "Jupiter Effect")

1991 UFO Guardian + 23 Years of Daniel = 2014 Missing Flight 370
(1970 UFO Guardian + 2300 Days of Daniel = WOW Signal)

It’s kind of hard though to see a shadow of what’s prophesied to happen and not wonder, is this just a shadow or could this be the actual beginning of it, in time…?

I think about Hitler and I think, if I was where I am right now when Hitler came about, I’d be really, really wondering if I was seeing more than a shadow.

You're a funny guy Gary.
Just because people have made wild predictions, [incl myself!] that is no reason to think that what is prophesied won't ever happen. What does seem to be 'unknown to you', is the clearly stated prophesies of a dramatic change to the world, that WILL happen.
If they never will, then why do you believe ANY of the Bible?

Please answer this question and explain your reasoning for basically deleting about a quarter of your Bible.
Remember that virtually all of the faithful people before today, have thought the end was imminent and I view the reason God has allowed this state of mind as a way to keep His people in a state of hopeful anticipation.
It works for me, why not for you?

Umm, I don’t know if you’ve read the Bible but it clearly says that The Father and The Father alone knows when. Not even the Son.
So can you pls tell me why do you feel this need for the world to end in your lifetime?
I mean you’d be joining generations of many other people who have failed to predict the end of the world. So what drives you?

Yeah I dunno. I am not preoccupied with it. But I absolutely think it could happen in our lifetime.

@GISMYS_7 what compels you to believe that the end of the world will happen in your lifetime?
There's a huge time difference between "the end of the world" (as we know it) and events leading to the reign of the Antichrist. There's a good possibility that the reign of the Antichrist could be in the very near future, but no one should set dates. But there are numerous events which will follow for at least 1,000 years or more.

At the same time the world will continue to exist for eternity in a very different way, once the New Heavens and the New Earth have been established. So technically there is no "end of the world". "End of the age" is more accurate.

It's not a preoccupation, but I'm not ignorant of the Scriptures, or the times we live in. Will the age end in my lifetime? I have no idea. Could it? I believe it absolutely could, and I would not be surprised.

Much love!

Scripture says that we cannot know the hour or the day, the Lord will commence the end times events with His terrible Day of fiery wrath. But we can know the season: Jesus castigated the Jews for not knowing the season for His Advent.

It isn't any sort of 'need' for me, just an understanding of God's Prophetic timetable. His 7000 year decreed time for mankind. Which is now at 5991 years since Adam.
If they never will, then why do you believe ANY of the Bible?
You avoided this question and asked another. The usual ploy of someone without any answers.

I don’t think you’re realizing the point of what I’m stating which is : men are wrong and will always be wrong.
So you turn it into a question of belief because you think that I don’t believe the Bible. I do believe the Bible, but if you try to predict the end especially in your lifetime, you’ll be wrong just like many men before you were wrong.
