Sweet potatoes are a different variety of "potatoes", (color, texture, a bit different than white potatoes).
Yams are native to Africa, but grow much larger than "potatoes". It was the similarity in "texture and preparation", that people from Africa in the US, simply called "potatoes"..."yams", that they were familiar with in their former nation.
In the US, "canned YAMS", are not really "YAMS"...but rather "sweet potatoes", in a thick syrup.
"Sweet potatoes and Yams" ARE two different vegetables...but the term is used "interchangeably" in the US.
YUCK to both.... Give me a white potato.... I will donate my sweet potatoes to someone who likes them.
Exactly. It was a well-planned conspiracy with several goals in mind, including universal injections to kill, infect or maim people. Where are those who should be arresting the conspirators and conducting Nuremberg 2?

A couple of other things...
1) Private property owners, not on the public Water supply, but rather have their own private well....
Govts instituting LAWS, to put meters on private wells, to moniter and charge rates!
2) Also, govts overseeing, beginning mandates on APPLIANCES...
We have seen it with the "SMART" phones, Tv's, Cooking stoves, Washers, Dryers...and now going into HVAC units....which REQUIRES the homeowner to have INTERNET....
The "false bubble" of new housing construction...with "the entire" house "internet" connected....gives the govt entire CONTROL over "snooping, monitoring, and instant "cut off", at their will.
How "smart" is THAT...to acquiesce your Privacy to your Servant, as your personal peeping tom and dictator?

It depends for me, between white potato and sweet potato. I like both, but mostly depends on what meat I want to serve/eat them with.
(Pretend yams, ie Canned sweet potatoes in thick syrup) I do keep, both canned white potatoes and "pretend yams"... on hand...BECAUSE of the corrupt govt that CONTROLS the grocery store shelves...and attempts to CONTROL private gardens.

Regarding fuel, it may be expensive to fill a propane tank, but it will never go bad and always provide heat for cooking and staying warm. Now electricity is less certain because they can cut it off without notice, so I personally pre-pay a couple months worth so that I at least have a "credit", which may be sufficient to keep the power on until the ENTIRE GRID goes down for everyone.
And my FAVORITE "store" is Craigslist. I've bought everything from used computers, to woodstoves, -- you name it and I've probably bought it for a fraction of buying new. In fact right now my former computer powersupply exploded, so I'm using a used Craigslist Computer which is actually more Powerful than my original, -- for $100. (I also bought a USED Powersupply for $40, but haven't installed it yet.)
I'm not smart, -- just cheap ...

There's a difference between being "cheap and wisely frugal".
I once worked with a guy, whereby my job was 5 days a week with option to work OT on week-ends. This guy Only worked "week-ends"...EVERY week-end, in addition to a different full time job. I asked him WHY, "every week-end". He said, for his "family"...the big house, the pool, the endless toys and gadgets for his kids AND the wardrobe for his kids to be "popular"....
WOW. I thank him! For all the top dollar money he spent on kids clothing, carted off to the resale thrift stores at the end of the season, that I was buying for a fraction of the cost for my kids wardrobe...and spending the week-ends with my kids.
I agree. Being frugal, is wiser than being a fraud, buying things you can not afford to impress people you do not know or like...

Na im with Addy on this one... I like normal potatoes... I love pumpkin and my mum would try and trick me by disguising the sweet potato as pumpkin. I wasnt having it but... lol
