Yes it was just like Communist China bankrupt, but the west invested in them to help bring them out of the 3rd world conditions, but one should never invest in Communist ever, because they are under the powers of Satan. but in the west we still have the powers of Satan that are in the workings running loose more and more each year and now it's rampant. no one called them out ! no Religious Denomination truly took such a task totally seriously because within was the Cancer as such always is, be it laying below the surface or outright in your face like it is nowadays in the RCC and others.
When the RCC was taken over by Vatican II that was the start of the real Cancer that would increase over the years, this direction was all about this world and the people who knew better were driven out, they were outraged ! There was what was called Catholic Action that took on the forces of evil. Pope Pius XI warnings of the frighting efficiency of the forces of evil that are a material ends and not of a Holy Spiritual ends. John 15:5 "With out me you can do nothing" and so no fruit can be expected unless it abides in Christ Jesus who is our wellspring.

I have an 1953 Catholic action edition Bible and it points out many things that you do not get in the newer RCC versions that are devoid of so much information. when I went to buy a new top of the shelf RCC Bible is was deeply shocked and horrified that it was so totally barren. I had to look for an old one that had not been used, as my old one was so worn out by me and I got a 1961 edition I was so glad to find such, but the new ones I would not bother with as a AKJV is way better than that. but I find that they are getting hard to find now, so the next one I see I will buy another.

Interesting... Many people do point to Vatican 2 as being the start of the downfall for the RCC

It can get pretty cold up here in Maine in the winter. I have a couple of those small electric heaters.
And 8 fur coats to keep me warm.
:)

I haven't celebrated a holiday for many years.
I think last year I picked up some sliced turkey a box of stovetop stuffing, a can of yams, a package of instant potatoes, a jar of turkey gravy, and a can of cranberry sauce. I think I got a pumpin pie too.
I got at least 3 meals out of that. I don't eat like I used to. I always went back for seconds. I can hardly finish firsts now lol.

I don't suppose living in a van is much fun. I lived in the cab of a Freightliner Truck for 10 years over the road.
Went home to florida occasionally when things got slow.
It gets a bit cramped.

I been on both ends of the spectrum of having way more than I need to just scraping pennies from a jar.
I hear that.

Praise God
and Amen
Hugs
:)

You know all these lockdowns...
only large corps like walmart and cosco home depot could operate...
they made a nice profit...
Now it's payback time.
They sold their soul to the devil by remaining open while everyone around them was shut down.
And the price for being allowed to remain open and get all these profits, was to bow down to the dictates of the government.

SHAME SHAME SHAME

Ye one of my mates who is a small business owner says their trying to shut down small business so that they can buy it themselves...
Like true communists that own everything... Business and property goes under and the government is their to claim it

The government was allowing people to live in their apartments and rental homes without paying rent.
Landlords could not give out eviction notices.
They gave money to the people but some rather pend it on other things. the landlords got nothing.
Many had to sell or have their properties foreclosed on. The big realestate corps like BlackRock came in and baught up all the property.
As of Sept 1st the eviction moratorium expired. So now all these people who didn't pay their rent are being evicted.

No home, no job unless you comply with mandates, some being fired for non conformity...
NASTY, NASTY, NASTY

It's going to get worse..

Food is next.
And Utilities.
They are already mandating travel restrictions by public transportation..

Hold On..
We're in for a hell of a ride.

Hugs

Sometimes it gets crazy trying to stay informed on all this stuff.

So I'm going to take a break and head over to my quiet place.
Enjoy some Praise and Thanksgiving.

The other thing I was thinking, is the price of propane is going to skyrocket. Could be my dad wants me to have the micro to cook on in case we can't get fuel. The it would be just the electric bill to worry about... idk...

Regarding fuel, it may be expensive to fill a propane tank, but it will never go bad and always provide heat for cooking and staying warm. Now electricity is less certain because they can cut it off without notice, so I personally pre-pay a couple months worth so that I at least have a "credit", which may be sufficient to keep the power on until the ENTIRE GRID goes down for everyone.

And my FAVORITE "store" is Craigslist. I've bought everything from used computers, to woodstoves, -- you name it and I've probably bought it for a fraction of buying new. In fact right now my former computer powersupply exploded, so I'm using a used Craigslist Computer which is actually more Powerful than my original, -- for $100. (I also bought a USED Powersupply for $40, but haven't installed it yet.)

I'm not smart, -- just cheap ...

Bobby Jo (and ELAM catching Z's after a long day of preparing for, hauling, and stacking a half cord of firewood  )

I believe propane runs about $300 a month in the winter. From Oct - April.
Then it's just used for cooking. I don't bake very often but I cook a lot on the stove.
A lot means maybe spaghetti and meatballs or hashbrowns and fried eggs for breakfast.
I may cook once a day.
I like my cereal, but I run out of milk a lot.
I actually like water in my honey nut cheerios. I like oatmeal and cream of wheat.
Breakfast is my favorite meal anytime of the day. :)

Electric runs about $100 a month. This is what he tells me, I never seen a bill so I don't know.
I offered to put the utilities in my name. I could get assistance. He said NO.
That's why my SS is low. I don't pay rent or utilities. But I do pay for lawncare.
They don't take that into consideration. Only phone and trash removal.

I live in basically one room in the mobile. It's a 3 bedroom doublewide.
2 bedrooms are filled with everything from sewing needles to bubble wrap and fabric, fabric, fabric. Sewing machines, anything and everything crafts.
I don't watch tv so I don't stay in livingroom. There are 2 bathrooms but one is stuffed like the 2 bedrooms.
And the kitchen I visit on occasion to pour a cup of coffee.
I had a studio apartment a long time ago. No cats though. And a sleepsofa. I was perfectly happy living in that one room with a bathroom.

So I leave most the lights off in the house except the bedroom where I live. I have a portable air conditioner on wheels, but I only use that on really hot humid days. A fan. and a coffe pot that rarely is turned off..lol

I try to be as frugal as possible. If I was paying the bill, maybe I might splurge a bit more. I don't like taking advantage of situations.

I try to be 1 month ahead on the phone bill and the trash pick up, incase I run into a crunch somewhere.

I left my parents house when I was 18 and got married, got divorced and got remarried.
These last 5 years have been the longest in my life I ever lived alone.
That studio I lived in for less than a year only because it was close to my job and in between living in a truck.
I lived an hour and a half away and the 3 hour round trip was tough, specially when you had to work overtime.
So I moved closer temporarily. I should have stayed there..lol

But you never know where you will be tomorrow.
I thought I would be in Florida forever, but 1 hurricane and poof I was gone.
I never been without. I lived on candybars and soda for a year when I was in my teens.

I could write a book..LOL

HUGS
