This is not one of my usual stopping places on here as there is so simply not enough time for this slow moving old man, but I made it happen this morning. I have had my first cup of coffee. My second one is not far away. Glad to find such a cheerful gathering before the Lord.
Give God the glory!

Good morning also, CB and everyone out there. 5:08 am and I'm just waking up to my first cup of coffee, high of 75F today. But it's been pretty cool out so my apartment shouldn't heat up too much. Looking forward to getting out of the house for some walks today.

Greetings this blessed morning! So glad to see so many already full of vim, vigor and vitality with more than a touch of the Holy Spirit. I am in the midst of my own first cup of coffee.

Thank God for coffee and for youth... not that I have much of the latter!

@jessiblue I guess in the Deep South night time in summer can be just about the coolest time of the 24-hour cycle...

Can be. If you live in a city loaded with concrete, brick, stone, that heats up all day, and emits the stored heat over night, making it still relatively hot in the evenings.
Country setting, much cooler and more enjoyable after a hot summer day, with a breeze and stars and full moon....pretty awesome.

Yeah, a sweet gentle summer breeze is always heavenly, even if it’s a warm one!

We had two extreme heat advisories this year. And the roof insulation is really strong in my house and it stores heat. Once it heats up it takes a couple days for the apartment to cool down. So when we have hot days here they last for a few days after it cools down.
