Most people like BC... If I could... I would probably move out EAST ( somewhere by the water )... but because I am on a disability pension... I am forced to live in Ontario... which is NOT a punishment... and to boot... I even get to live on the LAKE... so it doesn't get better than that... I TRULY am EXTREMELY BLESSED... and my simplicity is largely WHY I see things so differently than most.... I don't mean to be difficult on purpose... My mind just honestly is not able to process things like most... and I don't care about things that most people care about... so WEIRD little sister... LOL

THANK you @APAK and @Backlit for bringing me so much JOY... I know that these are serious issues... that you both are passionate about discussing... and I do RESPECT that... I come to the forums for moments like these... where we can look past our differences and get down to the heart of the matter which is LOVE ONE ANOTHER.

HUMOUR is my thing... I think it's because I have suffered with SEVERE depression all of my adult life... humour was like medicine for me... NOW with this new found JOY.... it's like a fine wine.

Pick the bird life in the back yard.... I am so JEALOUS.... we get ducks... RAVENS ( ugly black buzzards )... seagulls... and pigeons... and well other ones too but nothing colourful... robins... the odd red headed wood-pecker. and of course crows which are simply raven wanna-be's.

I love it here. In MN Z we had magpies on the farm, peacocks, pheasants, and the odd heron. Plovers. And a couple of others. But the peacocks were extremely shy and ran into the bush when you got closer than 300 yards, the bird life generally was boring. Had to go into the bush to hear song.

I'm familiar with Van Morrison... Was never a fan. In my younger days I was more a Lynyrd Skynyrd fan. Doobie bros. Steely Dan. Today... Very different.

All my arguments are against one thing... Forced vaccines... That's what it's been about since the start... So to me anyone promoting covid fear and such is arguing for forced vaccines...

Just to put something right..I have had the vaccines, back in April. I am against mandatory vaccines, but I believe the virus is deadly with some people. When you have seen it unfold in front of you it gives you a different prospective. So I cannot stand with those who state that it is not real or very harmful. We will always come at this with different viewpoints. Addy is in a completely different situation to me, so she has chosen not to have the vaccine.

It was a female corpse that we had to transfer from her bed at home onto the stretcher. She had died sitting on the edge of her bed. When we got there, the detectives were taking pictures. She still had her nasal cannula in her nose with the oxygen going. She was in her 50s and just three weeks before healthy.

That scene is still etched into my mind. My partner who was still new to EMS went after the call and vomited.

We lost our first resident within the first day the out break was confirmed, by the end of the following two weeks we had seen 11 succumb , the youngest was 67 years old. It was the speed that astounded us all, how quickly it spread and how quickly it impacted. We had ever seen anything like it. However this won’t convince others, they have either only encountered mild cases or not encountered it at all. Testimonies like yours or mine mean absolutely nothing.
