The OUTRAGEOUS and SCANDALOUS GRACE of CHRIST.... whose shed BLOOD PAID IN FULL the sins for all those who believe in HIM.

WE as protestants stepped out of Catholicism... we do NOT want what they are selling... SO what exactly is it they are defending??

I find it so strange the Catholics seem to enjoy fighting with protestants for absolutely nothing... there would be NO conversations about anything Catholic if there were no Catholics here... ( and NO... I am not suggesting Catholics should not be here ). Catholicsim is not a pleasant topic ... and certainly NOT one that protestants would choose to discuss without being prodded.

Justification By Faith Alone is acceptable to Catholics if "faith" includes hope and love. The error is neglecting the importance of all three cardinal virtues in the unison that Paul hammers home in 1 Corinthians. " Saved by Grace Alone through Faith Alone in Christ Alone " is a teaching the reformers borrowed from the CC and added their own spin (resulting in serious divisions). We had it first.

I know a guy who hasn’t set foot church in 50 years.....He probably does not own a Bible, much less does he ever blow the dust off of it and read it....his personality is so obnoxious he has no friends.....he routinely talks to his own Mother like she is a dog.....he has ran off two wives, one of which was a very sweet, kind- hearted woman.....he spends most of his days involved in pornography and is not Above having one- night stands with women he meets on porn sites.......

He's a lost man.

Having said all of that , he once surprised me when we were talking about False Religions and different “ Spiritual ” programs used to “ better” people who were troubled and/ or addicted to drugs or other bad, self-destructive habits.....he said of these man- made religions and programs the following: “ I don’t care what they do or say, if it ain’t got Jesus in it, it’s a waste of time”......

Since this thread has become a WHATEVER one wants to talk about thread.... Here is another report about the GOOD works that the Catholic Church has done. The pope has refused to make a public apology. This is the 3rd discovery of unmarked graves... in the last few weeks in Canada. There are 1000's of children that were ABUSED by the hands of Catholic Clergy... In this latest reference (below)... It is believed that the numbers are even higher due to many children trying to escape by swimming away from the Island and drowning.
I'm not sure what the punishment is for defending evil and calling it good... but defending Catholicism is a very foolish thing in my opinion.
