I have been randomly going to the gym with various exercises given through the gym app but had not really considered the long term. I work out 4 times a week there so I need to be creating a gym program that will suit me. This has formulated into one day of cardio and the following day of full body work out which could be my arms, legs, or other areas of the body. Then the day of rest and so forth. This along with a deficit in my eating habits should provide a strong, healthy body with some weight loss and improvement in movement. Well that's the plan. :phew:

Prior going to the gym, I was having difficulty walking due to some knee issues along with hip and lower back pain. This may have been due to genetics, bad eating habits, lack of sleep and ongoing heavy work loads. Now that I am in a position where I can do something about it. I will endeavour to reverse this deterioration through healthy eating and exercise.

I have already started a new food diary which I use daily to chart my eating which has been working well. Now I will be spending time tody to create a new workout plan for the gym so that I am not there just to randomly use the equipment.

There are some exercises I actually enjoy like the floor glute bridges with a 10kg bag lift, the elliptical (cross trainer), the air (assault) bike and rowing machine and the Lateral wide grip pull down machine. This is the weekend so I don't work out again till Monday. The last workout was on Friday where Ijust did the full body workout concentrating on arms, legs and body core exercises. I will keep you updated on how I'm getting on...
