I had this question yesterday and here it is in my feed this morning!
WHat is the heart? Scripture tells us to diligently guard our heart above all else. We all know that we are body/soul/spirit, but the KJV of the scriptures uses the word heart 672 times? Something like that. So this is something that we should look at, and here is a great teaching on it I just watched, so I thought I'd share it.

Jerimiah 17:
The heart is deceitful above all things
and beyond cure.
Who can understand it?

10 “I the Lord search the heart
and examine the mind,
to reward each person according to their conduct,
according to what their deeds deserve.”

The heart that seeks Gods heart, will find it, as long as we come before him with a sincere heart.

The heart is also where the Born Again know God, because they have been Born Again of incorruptible seed.

Just my thoughts.

13 Honor the Lord your God, worship only him, and make your promises in his name alone. 14 Do not worship other gods, any of the gods of the peoples around you.

What does the Bible say about Jesus' heart?
But the crowning attribute of Christ was this: His heart was spiritual. His thoughts reflected His intimate relationship with the Father. “I am in the Father and the Father is in Me,” he stated (John 14:11). His first recorded sermon begins with the words, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me” (Luke 4:18).
