EZEKIEL 28:25-29:21

The prophet speaks through the Holy Spirit and affirms that even though Israel has been scattered throughout the countries of the world, they will be returned to their land in the future, it is already happening, Israel was recognized as a nation in 1948, and since then, the people have been returning.

One positive thing to dwell upon is the Jewish people made known to the nations of the ONE GOD, Adonai-Elohim-YHVH” and through the migration of the Jewish peoples to different parts of the world, we now have the Ashkenazim, Sephardim, Falashim, people groups which make up most to the Jewish peoples today. These people groups have introduced many varieties of foods, customs, and ways of worship in today's Judaism, many are also Messianic believers.

Bad news for Egypt, just as the Israelites were scattered among the nations, the Egyptians will also be scattered among the nations for 40 years. Egypt will be desolate and peopleless for this period, which will probably happen during the millennium. The Egyptian people will return after that time, but Egypt will never be prosperous. Since the fall of Egypt after the time of Passover, Egypt was conquered by the Babylonians, the Greeks, and Romans. Even today, Egyptians live in many countries, but Egypt has never been left completely without people and animals, at least not yet.

Yet a good note to ponder on, Egypt opened its doors to receive young Yeshua with Mary, and Joseph when they were fleeing from Herod. There are quite a few believers in Egypt today, making up the “Coptic Church”

MATT 24:1-51

Yeshua tells his disciples about the “end times” and we all know and have read this chapter, of “wars and rumors of wars, famines, pestilences, earthquakes, etc. As we look around today, we can be certain that we are living in these “end times” for sure, yet the end is not yet...we still have a way to go. We have heard of many “false-Messiahs” leaders claiming to be “Jesus” yet we know better than believing on them. When Yeshua returns, the “Whole World” will see him returning, what will modern satellite cameras, etc.

Verse 15 is interesting; It talks about the “Abomination of Desolation” set up in the “Holy Place” in the Third Temple. This takes us back to Hanukkah, reminding us of Antiochus Epiphanes, who set up a “Statue of Zeus” in the Holy Place. The future Anti-Messiah, a second “Antiochus” will also set up a statue, perhaps of himself, and command all to bow down and worship it.

Verse 30 talks about the “Sign of the Son of Man (Ben Adam) shall appear in the Heavens, and all the tribes (peoples) of the earth will mourn, and they shall see the Son of Man coming on the clouds with all power. We might ask ourselves, what is this sign? It must be visible since all will see it. Some might say the “Star of David” but that existed even before the formation of the Nation of Israel in Egypt. Many believe it will be the cross, the instrument of suffering and death, but for us, the sign of salvation from our sins.

Yet why do the peoples of the earth mourn? Should they not be joyous of Messiah’s coming? Happy that the tribulation will end and HIS kingdom established? One thought is that those “peoples” might be the unredeemed, the lost that follow the Anti-Christ. They know that their end is near and that their leader will be vanquished and thrown into the fires of hell. They also fear for their fate as well. Yet many will remain alive on earth and will have to subject themselves to Messiah’s millennial rule, like it or not. What an opportunity for them to accept Messiah Yeshua with all heart and willingly submit themselves to HIS rule.

We, as believers, will return with him. We are his servants and we must be around and occupied with the Master’s work, HIS work is to share the “Good News” of Salvation with all who are willing to hear, and to teach HIS Word to those who wish to learn it and apply it to their lives, thus is the work of Torah teachers and Sunday School teachers, pastors, rabbis, missionaries, etc…

The gospel will be preached to the whole world, which is happening now, we need to be ready for his return, those of us who are alive will be gathered together as well as those who have gone on before us and who are now in heaven, we will be ONE FAMILY and share life in the Millennial Kingdom of Yeshua and for all eternity.

Knowing that Yeshua is returning soon, we should do as much as we can to witness to others. Introducing the gospel to those who have ears to hear, who want to hear. We can hand out gospel tracts, there are "online missionaries" who reach out to the lost and to those who want to learn more about Jesus and the Bible. (example) GMO (Global Media Outreach). I have been part of that outreach for the past 7 years (in Spanish). We should measure our time wisely. Time is short, what we do now for the LORD will echo throughout eternity.

Careful with the above, brethren in Christ Jesus.

The returning of Jews back to the holy land that began in 1948 with U.N. Charter vote to form the nation Israel again, is NOT the prophesied gathering of God's Israel that is to only happen on the FINAL DAY of this present world with Christ's future coming.

In Ezekiel 37, God gave a prophecy of His future gathering of the children of Israel, and it is timed for when the graves are opened, meaning at the future resurrection...

Ezek 37:12-14
12 Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O My people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel.

13 And ye shall know that I am the LORD, when I have opened your graves, O My people, and brought you up out of your graves,

14 And shall put My spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the LORD have spoken it, and performed it, saith the LORD.
KJV

The LORD then tells His prophet Ezekiel to take two sticks, and write on one of them "For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions". And then take another stick and write on it, "For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel his companions" (Ezek.37:16).

Then God tells Ezekiel to join the two sticks together, and tell the people that see Ezekiel do that, that it means Israel shall then no longer be "two nations" (Ezek.37:16-22).

This is NOT... yet happening today, and those who actually know their Old Testament history realize that it is not yet today.

The Real Prophetic History For Today:

Per 1 Kings 11 forward, during the reign of Rehoboam, king of Judah, Solomon's son, God SPLIT old Israel into two kingdoms. Anyone who has actually read that history starting in 1 Kings 11 well knows about this. So you know when Jews try to teach something else against it, you know they are deceived by their own traditions of false crept in unawares among them.

Basically what I showed above with Ezekiel 37, reveals that ONLY at the time of Christ's future coming with the future time of resurrection, is when God's gathering of the children of Israel back to the holy land will actually manifest.

But some will say, "But what about the Jews returning to the holy land since 1948 and for today?" That is what I'm going to cover next, if you'll have patience.

Per the 1 Kings 11 through 2 Kings 17 history, God separated old Israel into two separate kingdoms; the "kingdom of Judah" that made up the 3 tribes of Judah, Benjamin, and Levi, and a small remnant of the northern ten tribes that refused the idol calf worship that king Jeroboam setup, and left, and went south to side with Judah. And then the northern "kingdom of Israel" made up of ten tribes in the northern holy land with Jeroboam of the tribe of Ephraim as its king, which God Himself ordained per 1 Kings 11.

Per the Jewish historian Josephus, he said the title 'Jew' is what those that went captive to Babylon called themselves, and that it was derived from the name Judah. Thus the name Jew represented ONLY those 3 tribes of the southern "kingdom of Judah", with its capital city of Jerusalem. Josephus also said all living there also took that appellation of Jew.

But the majority of the children of Israel were made up by the northern "kingdom of Israel" of ten tribes, with the tribe of Ephraim as its head tribe. Their capital city was at Samaria in the north. And these are who God said to write on the stick, "For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim".

Who then is returning to the land of Israel today? JEWS only. Or, remnants of the scattered "house of Judah", or old "kingdom of Judah". This is because in 1 Kings 11 God promised to always leave one tribe at Jerusalem for His servant David's sake, and for Jerusalem's sake. Even once God had removed ALL of the northern ten tribes out of the land captive to Assyria and the lands of the Medes, He left the "house of Judah" still at Jerusalem-Judea. Then that "house of Judah" would be taken captive to Babylon by king Nebuchadnezzar, but a remnant of that "house of Judah" would return to build the 2nd temple and city of Jerusalem again.

But today, the majority of the ten northern tribes of Israel, which still no doubt make up the majority of the seed of Israel, are LOST... to the Jews and to the world, but not to God. That "house of Israel" title applied to Joseph and Ephraim does NOT include the "house of Judah" or Jews. The northern ten tribes were NOT historically known as Jews. That title of Jew only historically applied to those of the southern "kingdom of Judah", the 3 tribes of Judah, Benjamin, and Levi. This is why Apostle Paul would claim to be a Jew, but also descended from the tribe of Benjamin.

The ten lost tribes of Israel will be gathered by Christ Jesus, along with believing Gentiles and believing Jews, ALL TOGETHER AT ONE TIME, on the day of Christ's future coming. That.. is the future event which God was talking about through the Old Testament prophets about the gathering of the children of Israel.

So do not be deceived by Jews today that preach something else, because before Lord Jesus returns, Satan via the Antichrist is going to setup a FAKE kingdom in the state of Israel for the future time of "great tribulation", and the majority of Jews there will be deceived into it and fall away to worship the false-Messiah that is coming there first prior to Christ's actual future return.
