Sometimes people hold a core belief that is very strong. When they are presented with evidence that works against that belief, the new evidence cannot be accepted. It creates a feeling that is extremely uncomfortable, called COGNITIVE DISSONANCE. And because it is too important to protect the core belief, they will rationalize, ignore and even deny anything that does not fit within that core belief.​

This is why its important that we read the bible for our selves as well .
I have found that it keeps us sharp to do so .
With the supply of the Spirit as our guide .
Let us return to the pages of our bible and simply learn and grow .
Exhort not theologies , but on the simple reminders in the bible . The words of JESUS
the words of the apostels . Let the truth shape our mind . GOD is with the true lambs .
And let us exhort daily lest any be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin .
If we can put down theologies of men and just re read and re learn the bible things can and will become clearer and clearer .

Many do just that bobby . Surely you still dont believe that trump and pence are the TWO witnesses .
I tried to tell ya what the bible the said . THEY will be preaching the gospel , they will be IN JERUSALEM.
But you are right , sometimes folks just HOLD ONTO what they believe and wont let it go no matter how solid the biblical proof is .
DO you KNOW of any like that . I leave you with that question . THINK real hard .
