Today, the oil Companies had profit announced

Profit is the most useless reveal in history. It serves as ammunition for political hacks that have never been responsibe for a budget, never hired or fired an employee. Has no idea of the upcoming costs of operating in any climate.

I want to see the upcoming budget and how they intend to keep the business operating. Give me projection of payroll for the upcoming year. Are you planning to hire more people? Tell me what research and development costs, tell me about the capital investment in replacement equipment will be. Explain what your mortgage costs are and the maintenence costs to keep those facilities operational.

The majority of that money is dedicated to operational costs. Already spent ...

Those meetings are entertaining to say the least. When you are privately owned .....the President drops in and says he wants a 15% increase in sales, not 10%.

I've had 199 people under command. Had 33, then had 350 to finish out my career. In the last pairing ....I had surgery on Thursday. Half of my face peeled back to remove a cyst. I was not in shape for a budget meeting on Friday. I got tricked into coming in. I walked in wearing my pajama bottoms, tee shirt, a throw from the couch and a plastic trash can from the bathroom. The President walked in ..."What happened to you?" "Surgery yesterday." "We can do this next week. What is the plastic bin on the table for?" "In case I throw up, I got called in, we do it now ...If I lose cookies along the way, I already know which direction I'm aiming for." I don't remember a thing about that budget meeting .....we did 140% of plan the next year .....Maybe I should have had surgery before every budget meeting .....LOL.

Profit ? a profit for what ? the year ?
Some Large Company's profit have to be seen over years too see the real picture, they maybe in debt by millions for some years and make millions profit in one year but where the bottom line is heading is the in the right direction over the years is what the company is truly fine with or not.
Mining may take 10 years before a profit is made on the investment.

Car company's have years of debt with a new model and then in the last year they make a profit but then they go back into debt with the next new model and such repeats, so we had morons making claims of that our Australian car industry was bad or useless because they did not make a profit every year.
Also idiots made claims from a position of ignorance of the reality's and overall picture, such people did not have a handle on our car industry from the 1950's and GM said it would not invest in Australia at all in making cars because they knew such would not be profitable. so the Government came up with an incentive system and that got the ball rolling, then as years went by the gearing of that system changed for many reasons. but at the end of our car industry the claims made to kill the industry were not openly debated and most people had no idea that from the beginning it had to be propped up anyway ! but their were benefits beyond just making the cars and also we once made things like fridge stoves radios etc but Japan had a lower currency and then China came in with a lower currency to kill our industry's off. and our dollar currency to the USA once was for many yeas on par but the Governments like our Dollar around 70c to the USA Dollar. but this may drop to 30c and China's currency should rise but China is playing a game to keep such low because they are smarter than the average bear with such tactics.
So China will grow and Australia will die becoming a nothing people, we can not even support apprentices, so we import such trades to come work here on working visas and that money goes back home with them into Asia, such is a death spiral for Australia future growth. but our car industry was a growth industry for not only cars but an investment for many other things as well. But the Governments and MSM do not want to inform the people of such details totally. They cut off true in depth debates on so many things and play a game of watch this birdy.

We got rid of all our fuel refinery's to get brownie points for the environment PC idiots and that fuel all comes from Asia now, so we have made our selves environmental heroes ! we are leading the way in the world ? but if all of Australia just vanished off the face of the earth that would save under 2% of the worlds man made pollution problems.

This new Congress needs to go to work immediately. Get oil flowing and shut off the spigot to the strategic oil reserves . Tell John Kerry, you are grounded. Start installing the wall laying on the ground in Arizona, New Mexico and Texas (we spent the money for the materials) ......Restart the Keystone pipeline .....Open oil contracts on federal land. Call the EPA and inform her ....."Your budget is cut to zero. How's that for Carbon free?" Then call the White House ....Your budget is cut to zero. You can sleep in a tent in the Rose Garden .....

Load the buses and send them to Latin America ....where they belong ...

Eliminate the Department of Education....Let the states spend their own money. Not send it to Washington and get less than 3/4 in return ...

A comment by Fox that would have been missed ....."Sanders has insisted on a windfall profits tax on theoil companies." This gaggle of children seem poised to do just that. The results will be further reduction in production. Long lines at the pumps ....HIGHER prices !

Find a way to stop the madness ......The Democrat Party has threatened to nationalize oil and the electric grid ......Not one of these guys has ever successfully run a lemonade stand in July and August ...in the desert, with no shade for miles!

California democrats are well on their way to nationalizing electric utilities in their state. They have passed a law goes into effect 2024?, that people will pay low fixed rates no matter how much electric power they consume.
