MacArthur: on Matthew 27

the day after the preparation” -
that’s on the Sabbath -
“the chief priests” - ….>>
Comment:
This episode—this Providence—, played out
“On the next morning,
the day after the Preparation”
Matthew 27:62—
that’s on the Sabbath, correct;
“because ..
since it was the Preparation ..
That Day - the day of the Preparation -
was great-day-of-sabbath”
John 19:31—
the day before the weekly Sabbath, correct;
“and already the Preparation
which is the Fore-Sabbath”
Mark 15:42—
is the day before “the day after the Preparation”.
So “on the day after the Preparation”
is on the Sabbath, correct.
But, <<Verse 62,

the day after the preparation ..
the Passover Sabbath ..
gathered together with Pilate”>>—
sorry, is not Gospel,
but is John MacArthur, saying.
