Just as there is no power in false gods, ultimately there is also no power in false teaching (for those who love the Lord).
False teachings would be harmful, not neutral like a placebo. What about true teachings that lack fervor? A fervor that can only come by the Holy Spirit?

The harm of false teaching is temporal, except for those who teach it.

As for "fervor", there is fervor and then there is fervor (by the Holy Spirit).
