So....
Yesterday night Elon Musk and Donald Trump had a roundtable discussion about Trump's platform and what he wants to do and accomplish during his presidency.

It went about an hour Long after a DDOS attack on X.

The reactions and furor were astounding.

The UK threatened Elon for publishing it.
The Democrats wanted nobody to listen to it.
Everyone seemed to be worried about it in some fashion.

WHY?

This morning I see this headline:

Which simply is a flat out lie....and over a Billion listeners later you would think that they would be reticent about saying such things. A Billion people heard it already....a Billion people ⅛ of the world population has listened and not come to the same conclusion.

It seems to me....
No matter what your opinion of politics is that people should listen to both sides. This is a former President and possible future president of America....a dominant leader in World Politics. Knowing what and who he is seems rather important isn't it? Why try to silence him? Especially since all that has obviously not worked at all. (One BILLION PEOPLE)

Yea, that headline is not biased at all (sarcasim). The interview seemed to offend all the wannabe authoritarians out there.

I haven’t seen any headlines over here that relay that the U.K. threatened anything , have you got any links. Not sure I get why an interview with Trump and Elon would be of much interest. Must admit that Musk is not in the Prime minister good books but that’s because of his comments about the riots and claiming we were heading for civil war.
The EU issued warning before the interview about potential hate speech , but that is all that is being said and that is not the U.K.

It was on YouTube before. I posted a separate topic about the interview.

About the slurring of speech...it was connected to the video somehow. Because I found other videos where there was no slurring at all.

I found it an interesting interview. Trump even talked about the assassination attempt making him a believer "more so".

P.S. We really need to pray for Trump. So many hate him and are against him.

He has commonsense and wants to help our country. The liberals really hate that.


Our local news station said they would have a clip about the Interview with Trump and Musk. Immediately they had no clip of the Interview.... instead a negative remark by the Harris/Walz team was put onto the screen!!!

I immediately emailed the news station...told them they never put anything negative about Harris and Walz (gave them some suggestions). And they promised a clip of the Trump interview and instead put up a negative comment by Harris and Walz about Trump!!! I told them it was unfair coverage.

That evening the local channel did a segment about the Trump and Musk interview!

So maybe we all need to email our TV news stations to complain about their biased coverage?

I wouldn't call it an interview so much as Trump going off on incoherent ramblings for two hours. It may have appealed to his most ardent disciples; but the average voters, the ones who will decide the election, aren't going to sit through this. So basically Trump just wasted his time yet again on something people aren't interested in.

You may think it's incoherent ramblings....likely because you don't understand what is going on in the world....
But everyone else thought it was a clear discussion about Trump's platform.

The things he wants to do as president.
They may or may not be good ideas. That's for people to decide for themselves.

Kamala has yet to publish or make available anything that she wants to do. That's kinda scary IMHO.

I know the videos you mean. There is another video where there's a static sound that breaks up Trumps sentences but yet is somewhat less invasive when Musk speaks.

I heard about that just after trying to find the interview on YT.
