● Heb 2:1-3 . . We must pay more careful attention, therefore, to what we
have heard, so that we do not drift away. For if the message spoken by
angels was binding, and every violation and disobedience received its just
punishment, how shall we escape if we ignore such a great salvation?
The books keeping records per Rev 20:11-15 list every sin that folks have
committed from first to last; which for some individuals will likely take up
quite a number of pages.
If I'm reading Heb 2:1-3 correctly, then each one of the sins on those pages
merits retribution.
Let's say an individual was dishonest on 150 occasions during their life and
retribution for dishonesty is five lashes per lie. That would add up to 750
lashes; and that's just for their dishonesty. If they have other sins to answer
for, proceedings could get very ugly.
