I think he got roasted for it at the time, too, right? I seem to recall something about "exposing ignorants to knowledge, to their destruction" or some such dreckNo the bible in modern 21 centuary english says :- 3 What does Scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.
Tyndale wanted the ordinary poorly educated labourers to be able to understand the bible, that's why he translated it from the religous language that was used in his day and should equally be avoided today.
Yes I clicked this link. It is a disturbing trend and imo, describes what is manifesting as the end times great apostasy & the falling away that Jesus prophesied. The sad & obvious thing to me is there are people who think they are Christians and jump on the bandwagon like the Lisa Gungor & her husband did with the Mega church--it's like they are on a Big high on the emotion of believing in Jesus but it's totally like the Parable of the Sower the seed did not fall on good ground so their seed dries up!not sure where but i ran on to this so i had look it up

I feel very sad for them, it is tragic & it will happen to more people if we do not talk about this and make certain that people have heard the gospel that saves and have really become true believers. My church always asks people after every service , if they have doubts about their salvation to come and speak to the Pastor or they are directed to people who can discuss these issues with them , rightfully applying scriptures- personally I think it is something all churches should speak about openly and give these individuals a loving supportive atmosphere to get properly connected to Christ where nothing can cause that seed not to grow deep roots and flourish.thank you
Why did you delete the OP?up untill your post i had given all hope up on this post

Good to remember the Parable of the sower, yes: we need to make sure we are good ground to receive the Word meekly in obedience.Yes I clicked this link. @"ByGrace" : We really would do well to keep remembering that good earring: :)
"As an earring of gold, and an ornament of fine gold, so is a wise reprover upon an obedient ear." (Proverbs 25.12)
