So I made this big deal about being hot or cold in a thread in the eschatology section and I learned from it that actually not having faith that I am hot or cold was an area of sin for me. Now I am not saying it is a sin for everyone, if they don't understand that they are supposed to be hot or cold, but I am saying if they have believed in Jesus, then they should extend their repentance, to cover the issue of whether they have believed in a hot or cold way.
Basically it needs prayer; and that prayer needs to be about hot or cold repentance.
No one honestly wants to be spit out, by Jesus and the more I think about it, the more I realise everything in my life needs to be hot or cold - not for my sake, but for His. I wonder if you see the mercy of this?
Now I can say quite confidently that I am cold, and I have said to my Church pastor the same and I know I am going to continue the same, I just don't want it on my conscience that I did not say so publicly. I think this is a great way for believers to support one another, that we watch out for whether people are being properly hot or cold. Don't you think so too?
I will trust that you pray something, less might be better than more to begin with, but I will trust.
