Our thought-life laid bare

I'm wondering... what if... WHAT IF... all the angelic hosts and all the legions of demons all had a perfect, word-for-word transcription of every thought that has ever gone through our minds and they're just reading it bare, fighting over it and stuff, in the heavenlies... utterly bare.

Is that crazy? Is God the only one who can discern our thought-life perfectly? What if the angels and demons could read all our thoughts too?!?! I think it's actually possible if you think about it. How else would Satan and his scourge know how to attack us and tempt us in just the right places? For them to know us in such an intimate way... it would be absolutely game-changing. I don't know how I'd feel.

It's one thing to have your heavenly father know what a wretch you are... It's quite another to be stripped bare before all of creation... but then again, Luke 12:2 and Luke 8:17 specifically state that there is nothing that will not be disclosed on judgement day... we will be laid bare and made to account for every misspoken word and misdirected thought and intention of the heart.

So will angels and demons be there defending us and condemning us, respectively? Are we not to judge angels? This is probably not good for my schizophrenia, but I can't help it. I'm actually kind of excited by this notion. Is that weird?

I think Satan and his demons get to know us very well just by observing the things we do, enjoy, like, dislike. I'd even go so far as to say Satan has at least a few demons that have been watching and listening to our every move and word since birth...JMO of course.

To me it seems that only God is able to do that.

There is a parallel passage, but I can't think of it right now. But anyone can observe what we do.

He also seems to know our weak points and poke pins us in those places. When I reached the point of being able to recognise when he was attacking me - usually after a spiritual high point - he then started to attack through my children who are defenceless against him because they are not born again.

I undoubtedly believe Angels AND demons can read our thoughts.

I have heard reference to Recording Angels and I was thinking the Bible specifically referred to Angels taking scrupulous notes of all our deeds, at least. I know that we will be judged for every thought, word and deed and the Bible tells us to take captive every single thought to hold it up to the Light of what is acceptable or not. All sin starts in the mind (heart).

I also believe that we are influenced by demons AND Angels all the time and that part of our challenge here is to only respond to the righteous suggestions. We are all susceptible to temptation and evil suggestions.

His fiery arrows are a constant. Is it any wonder that the bible wans us over and over again about being diligent as Satan is a roaring lion waiting to devour us and to ruin our joy, peace and faith. Let him who kills, steals and destroys be overcome with Him who lives in us.
