Does anyone know about Medicare plans that pay for dental cleanings, work? Because the hygentist said other seniors have insurance that pays for cleanings.

I have original Medicare so no dental work covered.

I would like to stay with my current Ophthalmologist, doctor and dentist. Also, I don't want a big monthly premium. Currently I will be paying only $17. 60 a month for my Medicare drug premium.

I thought maybe my current doctors wouldn't be covered under the other plans. Or maybe the premiums are big?

Medicare is yet another ever changing, mumbo, jumbo, convoluted created mess of the Fed government that even “they” do not understand and mismanage.

Sorry…No clue to help with your question, and don’t have much trust in where to seek a correct answer.

God bless you.

Hello @Debp,

You can always call and just ask them for direction.

Either sign up for a Medicare advantage plan, like Humana or sign for Medicare parts A, B, C, and D. The Medicare advantage plan does the same thing, but gives you added benefits, and you have a single source to call in case of a problem.

Thanks everyone for your responses.

I posted at another forum and from their replies, I probably will just stay with what I have now.... original Medicare and prescription plan D.

I don't want to change doctors. And I don't want a big premium. My prescription plan D is only $17.60 for 2025.

With original Medicare I pay the deductible each year but my 20% for visits only comes out to about $20 or a bit more. One doctor doesn't charge me the 20%.

I only see one doctor and an opthalmologist. Plus have dental cleanings.

I'm with Wellcare for my prescription plan D. This current year my monthly premium was only forty cents!!!

That's why I always stuck with original Medicare! Plus prescription plan D.

Hello @Debp,

My mothers coverage for 2025 is a payment of 300$ and something dollars every month. She is 65 years old. If she ever has an accident or something they will pay full coverage by and through Medicare with United Health Care coverage.I don't remember exactly what plans she also chose.
