Helicopters likely should not be allowed to fly near the airport, as they can't be certain to fly at proper altitude.

Meanwhile, investigators from the National Transportation Safety Board have determined the CRJ700 airplane was at 325 feet (91 meters), plus or minus 25 feet, at the time of impact, officials said at a Saturday evening news briefing.

The information was based on data recovered from the jet's flight data recorder - the "black box" that tracks the aircraft's movements, speed and other parameters.

The new detail suggests the Army helicopter was flying above 200 feet (61 meters), the maximum altitude for the route it was using.

AND night vision googles restrict the field of view to center field only. You wont see anything to the side. Still the main reason for collision was they flew outside the authorized flight paths.

Inman also said at Saturday's briefing that the helicopter's training flight would typically include the use of night-vision goggles.

"We do not know at this time if the night-vision goggles were actually being worn, nor what the setting may be," he said. "Further investigation should be able to let us know if that occurred and what factor it may play in the overall accident."

Data confirms that the air traffic controller alerted the helicopter to the presence of the CRJ700 about two minutes before the crash.

I have to agree that in this Job the hiring practices are questionable - not that they are minorities but that the best and the brightest are not recruited for a very important job that you would think you would want the best people doing.I am a Canadian and when I was young I tried to get a job at NavCan and the recruiter's first question was if I was a white person I told him I was and he told me they don't hire white people only minorities and family. He told me I had no chance because I was white and to give it up. To me that is proof they do not hire the best and the brightest - not saying I am the best and brightest but I would of liked at least a chance at getting the Job but I wasn't even allowed to apply. So many bright people very capable of doing the job were turned away due to the hiring practice. I can't be the only one I was very disappointed at the time and ended up laying rail across Canada for a couple of years in my youth.I am only speaking of the unfair hiring practices where all people should be considered for the Job if they qualify not just certain groups due to policy.

Michael 'Rocket' Blackstone, a 43 year pilot, 26 year airline pilot, and aerobatic performer and stunt pilot describes what he feels to be the likely causes of the unthinkable....a midair collision between a military H-60 and an airliner. This is the first midair collision on US soil since the Aeromexico crash in Southern California in 1986 - some 38 year ago.

The likely causes are now pointing toward the 28 year old female pilot, Captain Rebecca Lobach who was at the controls of the H-60 with only 500 hours of flight time was allegedly taking a competency check ride with Chief Warrent Officer Andrew Eaves, 39 was evaluating her had only 1,000 hours. The pair failed to see and avoid traffic called out by Washington Tower after stating that they had the traffic in sight.

Clearly the H-60 crew did not have the traffic in sight, failed to fly at or below the required 200' altitude on the route, and are the likely cause of 67 people to lose their lives. My heart and prayers go out to everyone involved in this horrible aviation tragedy. May this never happen again.

Hegseth saying pilot was a DEI hire.

Despite Deep State taking days to hide identity of Lesbian Blackhawk pilot, what is found is shocking.

On Saturday night, the Deep State finally released the identity of the fighter pilot who flew the Blackhawk helicopter into an American Airlines jet killing more than 60 people.

Here is what we know.

Pilot Rebecca Lobach worked in the Biden White House. She was there as recent as Jan 6 for the ceremony when Hillary Clinton and George Soros received medals from Biden.

Yes, that's totally unfair.

That's why President Trump is getting rid of DEI hiring....smart man and not afraid of the consequences or disapproval of the "politically correct."

Sounds right to me.

This is footage of the impact.

Given the respective speeds of both aircraft, it looks like the Blackhawk headed right for the commercial plane.

I thought Blackhawks could turn on a dime and could maneuver out of a contact situation like that.

God rest all who died in this tragedy. pryw

Watched a BlackHawk pilot who said when the tower warned them of the plane, they should have stopped forward motion, hovered and dropped altitude. IT was just a training flight, neither pilot had enough hours. He said at 500 hours that is not enough expertise time except to take off and land only, not fly a dangerous mission in such a busy difficult area. Tower should never ask pilot do you have a visual, as then when the pilot says yes, ATC assumes everything is ok. She never saw the plane she hit, she saw something else.

And there are 2 types of Altimeters on copter, one on barometric pressure that pilot must set themselves properly, which he thinks the women pilot put to the wrong number. Off by a single third digit could account for them flying 100 feet to high. And the other uses ground radar and is accurate.

Copter crew was too laid back and trusted each other too much, not paying attention. Just like we drive a car at high speed, better pay close attention or people are going to die in a wreck on highway. Women copter pilot had the duty of care and screwed up. But also, her copilot did not notice anything wrong.

Bad news for the ATC in the tower today. Earlier was suggested the ATC display showed 200 feet. But NO, the ATC display in the tower showed 300 feet and controllers did not tell the copter to go lower.

The National Transportation Safety Board released an update on Tuesday informing the public that the Black Hawk helicopter that collided with an American Airlines plane in Washington, D.C., last week was flying too high at the time of the crash.

The agency found that the Black Hawk was positioned at 300 feet on the air traffic control display.

That is 100 feet higher than the ceiling of 200 feet for helicopters in the National Capital Region, according to a report from Fox News.

If you watch the impact on the video I posted it looks like the Blackhawk did not try to evade collision.

Remember the terrorist attacks months ago? One in New Orleans and another at a Trump property.

The terrorists that committed those suicide missions were military. And they knew each other.
And were radicalized when stationed in Muslim countries.

This was reported after those incidents. If the Blackhawk pilot in this case was like that, will it be reported?

That's the other thing about the faction, locally and foreign, who are all for America being invaded by illegals.

We know that terrorists are crossing our southern border too. And here's another thing that is also a known fact. So too are CHINESE crossing our southern border!

Sleeper cells are in America. Arabs,Iraqi, Iranians, are crossing. They're also entering our ports, which doesn't get a lot of news.

Bleeding heart fools who are all for allowing illegals to invade America have no idea what's coming.

But when it does, they'll be complicit.
