He was compassionate, justifiably angry, loving, grieved, a man of many sorrows...
He does only what The Father says, He did not beat around the bush but gave the gospel straight and unadulterated. Hated hypocrisy. Loved all people (didn't like the Pharisees much tho, ha!)
He was so far removed from sin, people were perplexed by Him, and His knowledge being so young. Yikes, so much more!

Amen Nancy! He was the greatest man who ever lived for sure.
Love when someone asks such as, "who's your famous person" JESUS CHRIST! The greatest man alive, then and now :)

That He is "the only begotten"...meaning, this is but His story and all of it is "in Him."
So since God is with us, are you with Him? What are some of your goals toward Him sir?
Out of all of God's sons that title applies exclusively to Jesus, why do you think Jesus is referred to as God's only begotten son Scott?

I try to be in constant prayer, as Paul taught (1 Thessalonians 5:17). My goal towards him would be to obey him. After all, he knows what is best for us, and he only wants the best for us.

He was the first, and yes the only one during his lifetime that was. But keep in mind, he had that title before coming to earth, correct? Likely you remember God sent His only-begotten son to earth Jn 3:16 so being born again is most likely not the reason Scott.

The Lord gives us some commandments to obey. I think Jeremiah 31:33 helps describe the process.

What was all before the foundation of the world can either be believed to be at each appointed time of revelation...or when it actually occurred before. If you refer to the one and I refer to the other, you are correct, reason is not being fully considered.
