I knew the person who started 'ghosting' (speaking as though you have the voice of another person) - it fulfilled the words of Jesus

Hi there,

I am a little vague on what the meaning of "revelation" is (in the context of a forum). But since no one else has posted, I thought I might offer something. I knew the person who started "ghosting" (speaking as though you have the voice of another person).

"Ghosting" was a response to a situation where this person was told the relationship to a child of his was irrelevant. He trusted the scripture that God would provide an answer through the Holy Spirit. What came out of his mouth was an affirmation of the other person, but a doubt with respect to this separation (that he was struggling with).

From there the Holy Spirit was inspired to speak in many different situations - always adopting an interpretation of the voice, to reflect the other person.

There are other situations where things work like "ghosting", like "gaslighting" or "putting words in people's mouths" occur, but to reflect a voice completely (to ghost it), is - at least it is supposed to be - a holy supplication. As such it should be considered a fruit of the spirit.

When we reach Heaven, we will be known as we are (letters from memory), being able to speak on behalf of other people in Heaven, will be one of the many many many joys that are there.

I hope this has been of some encouragement.

God bless.

I cannot think of any biblical warrant for saying that pretending to be somebody else could possibly be something brought about by the Holy Spirit. Nor can I think of any biblical reference to saved people being able to speak on behalf of other people in heaven.

Jesus said the Holy Spirit will speak for us. The Bible also says we will be known as we are; if we are speaking on behalf of people on Earth, and that is Heavenly, how will it not be Heavenly in Heaven?

Where does Jesus say that the Holy Spirit will speak for us? What bible passage are you thinking of? The nearest I can think of is Paul's words in Romans:

“Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.” (Ro 8:26 NKJV)

That is specifically about prayer. Jesus did tell His followers not to worry about how they would answer when they were persecuted foir being Christians:

“"Now when they bring you to the synagogues and magistrates and authorities, do not worry about how or what you should answer, or what you should say. "For the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say."” (Lu 12:11-12 NKJV)

But that isn't about the Holy Spirit speaking for them, but the Holy Spirit teaching them what to say.

Regarding Christians in heaven speaking on behalf of others, where does it say that in the bible?

In the islands we call it demon possession, and we see it more than one would think...
