The famous economist Milton Friedman said there are four ways to spend money:
A. Your own money on yourself
B. Your own money on someone else
C. Someone else’s money on yourself
D. Someone else’s money on someone else
The graphic below shows how most people spend money in the four cases.
But here is something interesting: When it comes to spending your own money on someone else, Christians will still seek the highest value and will be as generous as feasible.
Do you observe that difference?
Also, for the bottom two cases, Christians are more likely to be good stewards of others’ money/wealth/resources.

Blessings.
