Following Palm Sunday, there is an old saw that never goes away...the False assertion (actually, slanderous) that the crowd crying, "Hosanna!" was the same crowd crying "Crucify!" Context and the text itself make it clear that that old wives tale is false. (But that slander may go back centuries...don't know if anyone has traced it..)
