My advice . EAT OF THE WORDS IN that BIBLE , That be our meat . the dung the whore is feeding folks
is wicked trash that killeth the soul of all who do partake of that cup .

So are you one of those breatharyans? They claim to not need food at all and are sustain by the Holy Spirit.

They are actually a cult and follow a fake holy spirit which is just devils.

Seriously though... you have to eat something, so what are some of the good stuff you be eatin? clueless-scratching.gif

I smoked cigarettes for 40 years, and tried every imaginable way you can think of to kick the habit.

You should have realized it was sinful behavior that would send you to hell if you did not repent that sin and stop it (admit it and quit it)

That must have been before you wuz a Christian?

Do you ever have anything even remotely encouraging to say to your brothers and sisters in this forum?

Yeah, I tell them that cigarette smoking is sinful behavior they should REPENT
from and stop doing it so they can go to Heaven when they croak someday.

God's warnings are very encouraging because if heeded and acted on we
won't be separated from the Lord throughout all eternity

It was a false spirit, behind the addiction.

I prayed that the false spirit die, and I began to get restraint.

Thanks guys, for all your support!

I've started a new tactic! I am only going to eat McDonald's once every ten years. Part of the problem has been that I think about McDonald's, but I don't study the context in which my addiction develops. I mean, if I am talking about McDonald's every day, that's addicted; but if I eat it every ten years, that's just a treat. Learning to reign the flesh in, is not about denying it everything, just making sure that what you do allow is allowed within reason.

Subsequent to this thought, I started to wonder if I am having too much of other things, which is exactly the point! In other words, my self-control is growing, the more I let the Holy Spirit guide my appetite.

I had a vision recently, that seemed to show that my appetite for McDonald's is a thorn in the flesh.

In other words, just like Paul (the Apostle), I have to suffer with my appetite for McDonald's - God is using it to hone my focus on self-control.

What is maddening is, that even within a few seconds of giving in (if I do), my mind starts deciding what it wants to eat most!

I prayed that the false spirit die

The Lord and His Apostles never instructed anyone to pray that demons die.
We are instructed to cast them out in the Name of Jesus

Mark 16:17
And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils

And we are told to submit ourselves unto the Lord resisting the devil and he will flee

James 4:7
Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

And we are told to walk in the spirit and we won't fulfill the lusts of the flesh

Galatians 5:16
This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.

I finally ate some food, that is richer than McDonald's: roast duck!

It was interesting to see how my addiction slipped into second place - the richer the food, the greater the temptation!

It's hard not to think, maybe there is richer food than roast duck!

I am happy to report, that my addiction to McDonald's has been far less irritable since I had roast duck. It has been a month now and when I think about McDonald's it doesn't vex me at all. The Holy Spirit will give me the rest of the restraint I need, Lord willing (in Jesus' Name Amen).

Praise The Lord! Removing and lessening the junk you consume the better you can live and think!

May your food choices be led by The Holy Spirit.
