Perhaps I should have posted this in the Ethics and Morality section of the forum, but then I realized the problem facing some Christians in America.

I haven't had a look at all state laws, and I haven't looked at the Federal laws. But I have seen and investigated with the internet resources I had some available information. I believe as a Christian that I should abide and follow God's laws and not mans if man's laws are un-Godly. And I believe that was part of the problem during Jesus administering time here on earth. There were Roman laws and Christian conduct established by God in the Old and New testament from Jesus and his disciples.

I have seen news stories of Christians being injured in some form, perhaps financially and in other ways by local authorities when Christians decided not to engage in conduct they felt was un-Christian. Example:

Well, in the case of the Oregon baker he's just a little over zealous.

He once made news again when he refused to create a child's birthday cake because her mom wanted rainbow motif. In the cake layers itself and the icing design.

I think a baker is obligated to bake and serve the public they offered their services too.

They're in business because the same state that granted them a business license also granted homosexuals a marriage license.

Imagine the conflict of personal opinion revoked civil rights equality.

Christians think we can discriminate because we're right.

So too do others when they discriminate against us. Yet,that choice makes us mad.

If a baker doesn't want to add two women's or men's names to a cake, make the cake and sell icing pens so customers can do it themselves.

What an intimate ceremony in itself. Each person writes the name of their partner on their cake.

My husband and I did this just before the reception. A very unique ceremony in itself.

If we expect to discriminate against people because our faith OK's it, we should realize what that tells people about our Yeshua.

The original post in this thread discusses laws that discriminate against freedom of religion. I'm not sure what denomination you are from as this forum does not demand that information when a person creates their account.

I do have a firm stance on homosexuality from God. One part of that stance is that churches can baptize homosexuals who confess their sins and desire repentance which is having God deliver them from being a lifestyle that is sinful. God has laws in the bible that we as Christians are to follow. That proclaims our love for God and man, that we follow God's ways and are not bad examples for our brothers and sisters down here on earth.

God created Adam from the dust, and Eve from his rib. And they were to be one flesh and proclaimed openly in marriage ceremonies and feasts to allow society to know they were married. That creates a proclamation of commitment and that if one of the partners is misbehaving around other members of society they can identify things like adultery and lusting after others.

God does not join man and man nor woman and woman together in flesh. The bible calls that strange flesh.

Now that I have the God provided information should I talk about rights that the states individually or federally give to homosexuals and transgender activities. Perhaps it is better to identify the God created biologic gender identity and leave it at that so as not to confuse or deceive society. Then homosexuality and transgender ideas are actions and not identities. The USA apparently gives freedom of activities so long as they do not infringe on the rights of others. God, in the bible, gave direction about those problems in human behavior.

I think you replied to the wrong person.
My remarks did not reference any registration policies here.
