Developing Spiritual Eyes And Ears.

Proverbs 20:12KJV: “The hearing ear, and the seeing eye, the Lord hath made even both of them.” We must have spiritual eyes that see and spiritual ears that hear to know and understand the wisdom and knowledge of God.



Taken 33 years to get where I am today in the Lord, ....God imo always gets us to listen to his words, once he has dealt with all that chaos that can flood our minds from the enemy.

What say you?

PRAISE God ,that whatever he starts in our hearts/ spirit, he will bring it to completion.

Don’t expect an easy ride, as being Born Of The Spirit is far from easy, but, it’s the only way...stay focused on the Living Spirit Of Jesus!!.....be prepared for a long hard journey at times, ahead, thank God for the hardships as it will or should bring us closer to God...he wants us to fully surrender to his will and rely only on him 100%, he will have no other gods before him.

Yes I struggle daily with flesh/spirit. but I am led by the Spirit most days now.

trusting my emotions as facts and truth have gotten me in trouble and I have vowed to see life from His perspective daily. while I can honour how I feel, its not the be all and end all.
I got so angry once I lashed out bc I believed someone was being mean to me. it turns out it was just my mind seeing things from a fear based perspective (the enemy, satan) rather than from Love and Truth(Gods perspective). Since that day, I have been able to see more clearly in that, no one truly means any harm, ( and even when they actually do, its only out of fear or anger a seared conscience which allows me to understand, spiritually speaking and not take anything personally

And once I was shown the truth of peoples states of mind, and why they react the way they do, it caused a shift in me....I have chilled out and finally been able to find closure in my relationships.

So did I....you check out some of my posts ,when I first joined this forum....I am embarrassed to say that was “ me” at the time...it’s good to be open and honest about oneself, God loves that...don’t you think?

All takes time to mature and become more and more like Jesus...33 years I’ve been Born Again......and I’ve just truly come to understand the flesh....and the will of self....

The staff have been very patient here, with many of us, we’ve been allowed to grow...Praise God....I’ve had 2 warnings since joining.....none for ages....Praise God...

Very insightful post here, Sis..I can relate to all of it....you are very “ self aware”....I think that is key....I ask God to help me look into my own heart and mind daily.

The mind was my battleground for many ,many years...it drove me crazy, that was the enemy.how he plays with our minds and can get us to think all sorts of negativity and destructive thoughts about others.

Even my own family, he’s wrecked havoc in our lives...

At last after 33 years, I have peace, in my mind..all Glory goes to God.
